I only watched the Gamergate 2.0 stream a while ago for the first time, and it is simply amazing. Sargon came across sounding like a complete lunatic. Like full on, Hitler-in-the-bunker-ordering-phantom-armies-around tier delusion. Summoning the Killstream for some mysterious proclamation, taking his time to hype it up as if it was going to blow their fucking minds. Instead it just baffled them in the worst way possible. Sargon went up to people who didn't even fucking like him, expecting them and the rest of the Internet to perform some Herculean effort to influence the behaviour of the President of the United States, with the endgoal being to trigger the libs in a way that would amuse only Sargon and really no one else.

Just imagine how out of touch and self-absorbed you'd have to be to pitch a plan like this with a straight face. Sargon once again conflating his little Youtube niche of politisperging with actual real life politics, which is made even more bizarre because he was already busy doing his IRL political career at the time, but for some reason he decided to go out of his way to work on and present this pointless, childish plot.

No wonder the others' first instinct was to assume he was joking. Because the only alternative would be that they were talking to someone who's legitimately insane.

He also went on Andy Warski's stream afterwards to try and get Andy on board with his plan and deployed MundaneMatt (yes, really) and his capos to hype it up. They were still trying to justify it over a year later. Usually when Sargon pulls the "I was only pretending to be retarded" defence, it's for a hill he can't be bothered to die on. He never did that for this.

There's speculation he was drunk and/or high during the Killstream, but I think he was just overexcited about his stupid idea.

I believe people speculated he had snorted a few lines of coke. Sargon's a retard, but the GG2.0 thing really took me aback at the time so I tend to agree with the hypothesis of him being off his nut, and he's been seen to so lines while livestreaming, so the speculation isn't baseless.

Sargonand his wife had recently lost a child to a miscarriage, so perhaps that had understandably hit him hard and he was struggling to cope. Turning to coke and trying to relive his glory days...

All this autistic shit mushes into one after a while, but was this also not around the time he was banned from Patreon? He was probably also under increased financial pressure from that - he had the lawsuit in the background - and his YouTube popularity was waining, and hadn't stabilized like it has now.

With this in mind, I can just imagine an image of the extremely skinny Styx holding up Sargon as high as he can like Sargon is some kind of a big baby with his archetypical black shirt being too short as he's being carried up (via Lion King style ) and showing his bellybutton while his arms flail.

Styx recently shouted out Sargon's Bitchute on his channel, along with a few other right wing internet personalities, some of whom have threads. His been pushing Bitchute hard while acting pretty blackpilled about big tech. It's safe to say he still considers Sargon to be someone who's fighting the good fight.

Part of Sargons issues is most of his beliefs are either reactionary or gained through osmosis. If you look at his earlier work he was clearly closer to the norm of joe public-a mixture of leftwing and right wing beliefs but not particulary deep. 6+ later of reading outrage articles, mingling with edgelords and having your politics shaped purely by online bullshit has left him both incoherant and disconnected.
Combined with the endless lovebombs of his autistic fanbase have not only given him a skewed idea of the political world but a completly unrealistic sense of his ability and his grasp of UK polictics and ideology. What you get is an incoherant quilt of left wing and right wing idea's with the relentless shitshow that is online bitching.

I do think the most he's been brought back down was the absolute shitshow of his election campaign. Sure, his fans still tried to safety wrap him, but he had to step outside of that repeatedly during that election and got smacked down hard by pretty much everyone, from the British public and press to other members of UKIP. He went into cope and denial mode hard afterwards, but since his red-faced, bloated twenty year plan rambling video, he does seem to have reeled things back a bit.
