This actually represents a problem with the modern state of YouTube, and, to an extent, the entire internet. I miss the early days, when people would just make whatever weird content they enjoyed making, without worrying about hitting a certain amount of views, or reaching enough people, when it was more of a hobby than a career. I think that's part of why one of Quinton's enemies, PewDiePie, is so popular; he's just a dude that makes videos of whatever he wants, whether it's talking about philosophy, playing games, or reacting to shit, and it feels genuine. A smaller YouTuber, Glink, put out a video in regards to online parasocial relationships, and the topic of online "father figures," like Joe Rogan, and "older brother" figures, like Justin Whang or PDP, and it's that sort of authenticity that people are drawn to, but Quinton seems to have lost it somewhere. The reason I subbed to Quinton years ago was because of his weird, niche videos on like, Bee Movie, and I unsubbed when he just became boring. As much as I enjoy ripping on Quinton, if those weird videos will be fun for him to make, I think he should do it. Stop worrying so much about the algorithm and other people's opinions, and just make the content
you want to make. Be genuine, and, hopefully, the views will come with it. And if not, at least you had fun making something
