There is something disturbing about drawing Ernie and Bert as a stereotypical couple kissing and cuddling. I know they're innocent acts on their own, but the fact that it's combined with characters from a show for literal babies and toddlers in daycare just rub me the wrong way. Normally I'd say you can't use art as a grooming tool but that's the vibes I get from it if you showed this to a kid.

All the Bert and Ernie pics were drawn by a single person on Twitter, and all of their art and retweets are about shows for small children (Sesame Street, Blues Clues and Mr. Men in particular). There is something very off putting about it, and it's probably grooming related.

She's barely even tanned in Hidden Star in Four Seasons, so the fanart seems to match pretty well. If anything, she looks like Reimu in Mountain of Faith, with jaundice.

since we're on 2hu discourse, how the sjw-ish side of the fandom treats miko, as she seemed to have some shades of "she might be trans" or some bullshit like it thrown over her?

Most of that spawns from the fact that, if I'm correct, the ceremony allowing her to transfer her soul into a new body would let her shape the body to her tastes. Thus she'd be trans because Prince Shoutoku in the Touhou universe is a male who willingly decides to enter a female body.
But to be fair most of the community just thinks of it as a cool headcanon and only assholes try to enforce it as canon. (coughs I think Tumblr user Kogasa is one of them)

Since day 1 of Ten Desires drop they've been like that, though to be fair ZUN's interpretation of Prince Shotoku borders on that trans fuckery a bit. Not outright "trans women r women" but he's basically just implied that Prince Shotoku in Touhou canon was actually a woman the entire time, despite everyone calling her a prince, and the whole process of becoming a shikaisen lets you change your body as you see fit. Whatever floats the drunk guy boat, I guess, it's not that bad since ZUN just uses Miko as another political chess piece in Gensokyo with the humans vs spiritual beings shit, But I can see how the rabid SJW types latched onto "MUH TRANS RIGHTS MEEKO SHE HATED BEING A MAN AND WANTED TO BE A WOMYN" and ignored everything else about actual Touhou lore.
Honestly he really should have just drawn her as a dude and call it a day, maybe he was just too drunk to think of the consequences of his actions, since he actually can draw men...

My favorite interpretation is from that one doujin where Seiga switches Miko's body into a cute girl with Vocaloid aesthetic without telling him just to troll her and I refuse to believe otherwise that's how it really went down. Also the entire Touhou community on Tumblr is shit fuck Kogasa and fuck Clarste.


EDIT: My last 2hu ramble for now but I think Miko's more of ZUN's odd commentary on transhumanism more than transexuality seeing as she wanted to escape every human's fate, death, not her sex, and that's all I got yeah guys fuckin' weird don't take ZUN's shit too seriously like these idiots
