They went to management he tried to bribe them with food, it obviously didn't work, and Lucas got kicked out on his ass and put on a no rent list, so he's likely already barred from any government funded or section 8 housing).

He has a case worker and a court ordered payee managing his money and blows all his discretionary money on weed, booze, cheap motels, and Hutt levels of takeout, runs out of money within a week and ends up on the streets again.

He legitimately needs to be in long term, heavily supervised, group home style care; there's so much video and police evidence of the fact that this guy is just not competent enough to take care of himself It'd be nice to think sometime, someone will prove it legally and he'll have no recourse but to stay in the group home, go to therapy, take his meds and be forced to have some kind of menial little job to occupy him but that's unlikely.

What he'll likely get is a 72 hour hold and be on suicide watch, decide he's fine after a couple days of sleeping inside and having people dote on him, fake it well enough to get turned loose (and probably lie about getting housing line up) and we'll see the same cycle repeat again once it dawns on him he can't live in the Student Center, it's cold outside, and no shelters will let him back in due to his past behavior.

Well said. and I couldn't agree more about a group home being what is best for him. It would force him into a more stable, regimented routine, force him to maintain his medication regimen, give him some minor responsibilities that are at his level and force him to interact with people in a way that doesn't revolve around aggressively demanding people find him a woman as the central concept behind every human interaction he has. Better socialization would would be good for him and such an arrangement would better for both him and the people of spokane in general, especially the young women. Even so I can see that only lasting for a fairly short time before he goes off at someone and gets thrown back in the nuthouse or jail, unless such a group home was very stringent about him being properly medicated, enough to pretty much make him zone out more or less to the level he is at in the nuthouse

In a way the system has failed him to some degree. Not that it justifies his actions or behavior, but that doesn't change the fact that a few decades ago he would have been institutionalized, kept medicated and been able to lead a safe and as productive a life as someone in his position is capable of, without having to rely on homeless shelters and charities to live. Whatever good reagan did when he was in office, his biggest mistake was undoubtedly getting rid of institutions for the mentally ill. People like to claim it saved money and made the country look better by not locking people away, but how does that benefit them? Now they are still on government welfare, few are properly medicated, many live on the streets and have serious health problems from years of exposure, and many are drug and alcohol addicts. They should have thought of what was best for the patients they were putting on the streets. The institutions had their share of problems to be sure, but they existed for a good reason and simply needed improvement and better oversight. The most vulnerable members of society were denied the most basic of care when they shut down. Society absolutely failed them and continues to do so. I'm still surprised at the fact that its something you never see presidential candidates address at all anymore, nor state level politicians for that matter

That said, the life lucas is leading as it is now is going to kill him eventually. He is already obese, in poor health and diabetic, and at his age it isn't going to be too many more years before he gets to the point where his age starts to really show itself physically and spending time outdoors in awful weather is going to start causing serious health problems. He could barely handle it when he was in his early 30s, and hes only gotten worse since then. His joints, feet and hands will end up fucked if he isn't careful. As I said before, a good pair of boots and quality socks could save him some bad times at the hospital

when you go to the psych ER, they take your phone if you’re being forcibly admitted by a shrink or police officer. If you go and report you’re suicidal and they haven’t screened you yet, you keep the phone. They have no reason to hold him (ranting and being an utter waste of a person still isn’t enough). His threats are the closest, even considering screaming at a nurse. He needs to physically aggress to be a threat to others. So the people who evaluate him in the psych ED are going to see his risk of self harm is low (no history of attempts, no means, no access, and likely no plan), his risk of harm to others is low (currently), and he’s not gravely disabled. They’ll encourage him to admit himself but until he’s sleeping rough fir a while I doubt he will. He’s so delusional he thinks he starts school soon and will be swimming in pussy.

I can’t think of any group homes in eastern Washington that aren’t either involuntary step-downs where he would have to first go to inpt first or completely voluntary. The issue with Lucas is that meds do work. So he goes in and is medicated and then at that point the law has no right to hold him. Even though it’s a cycle that will continue til he dies:

There is no long term psychiatric justification for Lucas. He doesn’t have a criminal case that would allow the SVP laws in Washington to allow civil commitment for longer term for community safety.

can't really do anything about it. in my professional experiences (albeit as the big bad government man taking you to jail or psyche ward), it's mostly the same handful of people using the system to get free medical care, food, shelter, et c then skipping out and taking cash and other things handed out because they value their personal independence more than getting well, or alternately, they are addicted enough to the behaviors or comfort of living rough that any other situation is alien and disturbing to them.

most money going into charities for the homeless in my experience are complete wastes, since most homeless prefer to be homeless and efforts to put them in home or give them cash or whatever to integrate them into greater society always fail.

then you get the street kids that purposely are homeless to get away from a given situation and value their independence and ability to "make it" in the world. to control their own affairs is more valuable than stability or whatever, but they're happy to take your handouts and throw stuff they don't want into the trash. some prostitutes fall into this as well. don't mistake street walkers and street kids as complete victims though, many volunteered for the rough life and prefer it to "normal" life. most of the kids are just doing it temporarily and have a family they trust to go back to or a nest egg or something. it's a dalliance for them while the guy in the cardboard box next to them is a few days away from starvation or an OD or stabbing.

another type are addicts, who generally are just trying to get a fix, or are trying to "get better" to beat a rap and then get their fix later. precious few care about themselves (or those with dependents, care for them) enough to make meaningful commitments to get off drugs. and since resources are thin (wasted on the other homeless) there's precious little to keep giving as handouts all the time and too little services or beds or whatever to identify and provide for the people that genuinely want to improve their lot in life.

and that's the end of it really. the people that take the help offered from government and charities are effectively shrinking the pool of help for everyone - and for those that genuinely need it discover that there isn't enough to go around. then you get the charities that purposefully profit off the issue - begging for donations, paying out big salaries and bonuses, and telling their solicitors to lie to people to encourage donation.

one charity in CA settled out of court for fraud because they took in money for homeless kids, set up group homes and things, and the kids would just stay a night or two, clean up, and leave - maybe stealing some stuff now and then. yet the solicitors tell people that there aren't enough resources or money to keep kids in homes and it's all full and no food and et c in order to keep the money coming in.

whenever you are asked for a donation (at least in CA) you are entitled to know the percentage of the donation that reaches the stated end recipient. a firefighter widows and orphans fund calling you for a donation might only give 20% of your donation to the fund, the rest going to the charity.

his mom. She came up and admitted him. I’m not sure if she threatened or promises financial help or just he’s so Oedipal that he agreed, but she was involved in the initial 2017 admission. He was released and quickly readmitted but that was due to him showing very poor stability and I’m guessing fell under gravely disabled. But I’m guessing on number 2. I think we can all intuit that Lucas is so desperate for approval that he obeyed his mother at 37 years old. After all, she might have given him the Europe trip that would have saved his life but led him to being a same-age breeder...

I think at the end of the last podcast Lucas was genuinely arguing with auditory hallucinations and Goldaor happened to trigger him further. He did seem to be having a tantrum towards someone else the entire time, but it's hard to tell with his insane and stupid Lucas is

There's something I want to discuss about Lucas. His hallucinations.

It's come to my mind recently that his hallucinations are much more severe than I ever suspected in the past.

My evidence for this is several things: recently he hasn't shut up about men taking multiple women from bars in front of him, raising the number to His Highest yet, 12, which is obviously farcical.
This raises the question: is Lucas seeing large groups of people that he assumes are all sexually involved? Or is Lucas seeing people who aren't there?

As in, is he hallucinating human beings who don't exist?

My second bit of evidence is the following: Lucas has talked endlessly about being cock-blocked. But recently, he said multiple times that he's never once approached a woman IRL. As in, he's never asked a woman out on a date. Now these are his words.

If Lucas has never asked a woman out on a date, then how has he ever been cock blocked?

Something about the presence of men near him, I guess makes him feel as if the men are a threat?

He's talked about being in bars, and people starting to talk about how he's a 40 year old. I don't believe this. I think Lucas is having auditory hallucinations.

Because right at the end of the last podcast with Goldie, Lucas was too angry to seriously answer the question about the voices on the wind. The background noise bigots as he called them in that famous video... which is the closest he's ever gotten to discussing hallucinations.

Of course, in that video, he didn't think they were hallucinations. He was describing reacting to the noises of traffic outside, and the murmur of neighbors through the wall, as if it was a very natural thing that everyone does.

It's probably because Lucas genuinely hates any authority figure that tells him no. You see him post about it every time he gets in trouble, like a spoiled brat trying to make the parent or teacher look bad for disciplining them. He does it all the time with police when he gets arrested or in some trouble, than threatens to use them when he's not

I'd say his hatred for religion stems more from his own lack of knowledge and narcissistic "interpretation" of what scripture he reads. Christians are to love one another so in his mind it becomes Christians should put up with his shit/let him get away with it. They should give him what he wants. He really is just a waste of resources. It's clear to everyone he's too retarded to take care of himself, but he's never going to comply with any medication or treatment programme. Your best bet is to ban him from the shelters and let nature take its course and let his living nightmare finally end

Evidently, the hospital is going to "help him find housing" but they're gonna have a fun time with that considering his behavior last time got him put on a no rent list and there's not much else he could afford unless it was a supervised group home where he'd be forced to stay on his medication, practice basic fucking hygiene, give him chore lists, restrict his internet and phone access, make him be productive around the group home and on group outings to keep him occupied, and go to therapy.

Which, honestly, is probably the best he could hope for at this point, as he clearly needs an adult with psych training and dealing with adults who aren't quite capable of being left to their own devices.

Without rigid structure this is, what, the third time in a row he's been booted out of everywhere he tried to stay, spirals into a complete meltdown over bigots or agephobes or chicks not wanting to fuck him, lands in the nuthouse for awhile, gets meds, gets therapy gets out in Baby Steps apartments and aside from creepy videos, does mostly fine because there are people constantly checking on him to see if he's earning at least a C- in How to Adult.

Once he gets that C- he gets booted to less supervised transitional housing and we got to watch how well that went (for those that missed it, it ended up with him demanding some people he assumed were dealing heroin "give him a chick to fuck" or he'd tell the management they were dealing and/or call the cops. They went to management he tried to bribe them with food, it obviously didn't work, and Lucas got kicked out on his ass and put on a no rent list, so he's likely already barred from any government funded or section 8 housing).

He has a case worker and a court ordered payee managing his money and blows all his discretionary money on weed, booze, cheap motels, and Hutt levels of takeout, runs out of money within a week and ends up on the streets again.

He legitimately needs to be in long term, heavily supervised, group home style care; there's so much video and police evidence of the fact that this guy is just not competent enough to take care of himself It'd be nice to think sometime, someone will prove it legally and he'll have no recourse but to stay in the group home, go to therapy, take his meds and be forced to have some kind of menial little job to occupy him but that's unlikely.

What he'll likely get is a 72 hour hold and be on suicide watch, decide he's fine after a couple days of sleeping inside and having people dote on him, fake it well enough to get turned loose (and probably lie about getting housing line up) and we'll see the same cycle repeat again once it dawns on him he can't live in the Student Center, it's cold outside, and no shelters will let him back in due to his past behavior.



Laws vary from state to state, but in all states it's pretty difficult for even family members (let alone the state) get someone declared mentally unfit to manage their own affairs; it's expensive af, and when you get someone like Lucas who can be a great liar when he wants to be, he can usually pull it together enough to convince the judge there's nothing wrong with him and whoever is trying to take away his right to make his own medical decisions is somehow trying to harm him; he pulled that off at LEAST once.

A good lawyer could probably get him declared incompetent easily enough, just by knowing what to ask him to make him lose his shit during the hearings, but that would be probably more money than Lucas' family OR the state want to sink into him and since he's considered legally competent to make his own medical decisions he can't be forcibly committed or forced to take his medication unless he's deemed to be an imminent threat to himself (usually a 72 hour suicide watch hold) or to others (if he starts screeching at people in parks about how he's going to attack them or, worse, actually attacks someone).

So, unless he really hams it up in the ER he'll be out within anywhere from 24 hours to 72 hours and right back on the street.

Honestly fuck Regan. Closing the institutions was just a selfish cunt move that led to, as you said, them being left on the streets with addictions and criminal records and unable to find any way to lead a productive life. Lucas is the perfect example of the system failing the mentally ill, not that any of us aphid disagree he's an awful human behind the illness, but he is clearly not mentally capable of living a 'normal' life left to his own devices. Well said. and I couldn't agree more about a group home being what is best for him. It would force him into a more stable, regimented routine, force him to maintain his medication regimen, give him some minor responsibilities that are at his level and force him to interact with people in a way that doesn't revolve around aggressively demanding people find him a woman as the central concept behind every human interaction he has. Better socialization would would be good for him and such an arrangement would better for both him and the people of spokane in general, especially the young women. Even so I can see that only lasting for a fairly short time before he goes off at someone and gets thrown back in the nuthouse or jail, unless such a group home was very stringent about him being properly medicated, enough to pretty much make him zone out more or less to the level he is at in the nuthouse

In a way the system has failed him to some degree. Not that it justifies his actions or behavior, but that doesn't change the fact that a few decades ago he would have been institutionalized, kept medicated and been able to lead a safe and as productive a life as someone in his position is capable of, without having to rely on homeless shelters and charities to live. Whatever good reagan did when he was in office, his biggest mistake was undoubtedly getting rid of institutions for the mentally ill. People like to claim it saved money and made the country look better by not locking people away, but how does that benefit them? Now they are still on government welfare, few are properly medicated, many live on the streets and have serious health problems from years of exposure, and many are drug and alcohol addicts. They should have thought of what was best for the patients they were putting on the streets. The institutions had their share of problems to be sure, but they existed for a good reason and simply needed improvement and better oversight. The most vulnerable members of society were denied the most basic of care when they shut down. Society absolutely failed them and continues to do so. I'm still surprised at the fact that its something you never see presidential candidates address at all anymore, nor state level politicians for that matter

That said, the life lucas is leading as it is now is going to kill him eventually. He is already obese, in poor health and diabetic, and at his age it isn't going to be too many more years before he gets to the point where his age starts to really show itself physically and spending time outdoors in awful weather is going to start causing serious health problems. He could barely handle it when he was in his early 30s, and hes only gotten worse since then. His joints, feet and hands will end up fucked if he isn't careful. As I said before, a good pair of boots and quality socks could save him some bad times at the hospital

This is one of the things about Lucas that he shares with some other cows. He mistakes his mental illness for an interesting personality. His delusions are integral to his self-identity. Taking away his crazy is taking away what he believes makes him unique. His narcissism won’t allow it. He thinks taking meds is robbing him of his genius. I think it’s too late to fix Lucas. He simply won’t accept the help he really needs to even being passingly functional. his mom. She came up and admitted him. I’m not sure if she threatened or promises financial help or just he’s so Oedipal that he agreed, but she was involved in the initial 2017 admission. He was released and quickly readmitted but that was due to him showing very poor stability and I’m guessing fell under gravely disabled. But I’m guessing on number 2. I think we can all intuit that Lucas is so desperate for approval that he obeyed his mother at 37 years old. After all, she might have given him the Europe trip that would have saved his life but led him to being a same-age breeder...

Where did that info come from that his mother went to Spokane, convinced him to admit himself into Eastern State. I went back in the thread to the time of the 2017 commitment and it looks to be he was involuntary committed. Info came down via his older brother that he was in the mental hospital.

Now I only just discovered Lucas this year, aside from a few years ago hearing about that one weird creep who was banned from Starbucks for hitting on a high school Starbucks barista, and I'm not anywhere versed in the mental health field so I may be speaking out of turn or from ignorance and if I'm spreading misinfo or making ass assumptions, please correct me but it's really hard for me to believe that he has this system in place with a payee, seeing a psych doctor, and court appearances related to his mental health and he's allowed to roam around like this. Even just from phone calls and his most recent transgression.. screaming in the park (he says about BLM but we know it was about semen and zoomer bae fecund).. shouldn't it have screamed that he's a danger to himself and mostly others to a psych doctor? He said recently something about when he went last time (pretty recent) the doctor couldn't decide if he's manic, or depressed, and it stood out to me because WHAT THE FUCK?! How could anyone talk to him for a length of time, let alone a trained professional, and be ambivalent about his abnormal behavior??!

But as it's been pointed out recently in these threads, he apparently has enough wherewithal to look around as he screams into his phone about age phobia. He went from 10000 to 0 in a millisecond flat in that first USB interview, when he was confronted for screaming profanities around children for about an hour. But he was able to convince this guy that he's a perfectly normal 'doing a comedy bit' and was able to carry on to a congenial conclusion to the confrontation. I think his ability to go from 10000 to 0 in no time shown in the USB finally amazed even to Wernologists watching him for a while. Would someone having schizophrenic psychotic breaks or going through a manic phase in bipolar depression be able to exhibit this level of control?

After I saw posts pointing out how in his videos he seems to be talking to someone off screen, or it appeared that he was making a really big show of being on his phone, I noticed this especially in that video in the one Mexican restaurant (that he said he won't reveal the name of). He talks about how he goes to Motel 6 to get a really good shower, another usual Lucas brand of peacocking to the Zoomer baes he's really got his shit together, some more rambling... and right then the server comes to check on him and afterwards he says "Yeah so I'm just hopping around town, having to do my research" and goes on as if implying that all that talk before, about how he showers and can go to restaurants isn't a homeless man's ramblings but a distinguished professor who is traveling for work, which I felt was for the benefit of possibly listening servers or it snapped him out his ramblings and realized how it could come off and had to adjust. This surprised me, maybe because my expectations for Lucas are so low but because how much of a graceful save it was.

How could he have this kind of social understanding that talking about his ability to take showers and buy food has undesirable implications and cover it up so plausibly? Because I thought a big part of his personality is the hobo part where to him, eating a bag of candy off the ground is flexing instead of standard hobo behavior. When he happens to be in a hotel, he makes it to a point to repeat how he showers everyday and always brushes his teeth... he'll probably do laundry later. He says it all flippantly like it's such routine behavior for him but to everyone else, it's a painfully transparent attempt to hide his homelessness, which he doesn't realize because he's been living in the streets so long he's out of touch with normal human behavior, and doesn't realize most normal people don't repeatedly mention very basic hygiene habits. But that example in the Mexican restaurant seems to show he does

Or how especially unappealing it is to females 18-24, which most people understand that if a girl got pregnant at that age, it was probably an accident and unwanted. Sorry for that rambling novel but all this to say, realizing that Lucas wasn't as dopey and inept as I thought had been troubling me.. for 2 reasons. 1. What a shock to my system that there was actually an iota of human intelligence and capability where here I was so certain that at most there was zero, and more likely that he's an active wild tard. And 2. That his escalation from just jerking off to random jailbait girls to messaging them to calling them.. to skulking around casinos, outside bars he's banned from, and college campuses is fucked up and a real threat. Shoutout to @klickitat for tagging the college in the recent YouTube videos. Hopefully he becomes made known to campus officials and is permanently banned

Some of the behavior you're describing isn't him being self aware, its recognizing that people repeatedly make the same criticisms of him and that while he doesn't understand or agree with them, he hears them enough he thinks he can dissuade any negative consequences from them by showing he can adapt to correct it, even when he doesn't do so. For example he started making weird pics and videos of himself in shower rooms, standing in showers and talking about how he supposedly showered on a given day once he started reading posts here talking about how he didn't shower very often. He was acting like a dog that just does things randomly in a weird way when given a command it doesn't understand because it thinks thats what you want it to do. Lucas doesn't just dismiss and despise criticism of himself, he fundamentally doesn't understand it most of the time. He thinks everything he says and does is perfectly normal. Again, as evidenced by the weirdly big deal he made about 'proving' he showers, and even then not doing it in a sane way

He approaches every situation and interaction the same way he approaches his problems with women - as a specific problem that has a specific solution and once you find that specific solution everything should fall exactly into place and he should get what he wants. Like that last video klickitat posted where he was demanding people tell him where to go and exactly what to say to get a woman. It was clear he thinks there is a special thing to say or way to say it that instantly gets them interested. He fundamentally does not understand even the most simple of human interactions. Its also why he constantly tries to bribe, threaten and whatnot to get peoples cooperation in giving him that information, because he sees everything as transactional and doesn't understand why if he is willing to provide just the right incentive or threat, that these 'women hoarders' aren't willing to share their secret of how to get a woman
