He clearly feels his life peaked with his high school job. Imagine being so fixated on the past that you spend hours ignoring your family every week just to relive the glory days of being a video clerk.

The Chipmans are not a family within which wellness or health have ever thrived, but Chris’s downfall seemed somewhat avoidable until it happened.

Like I realize that Bob is the worse person but the "Chippa's" Internet begging just pisses me off in some sort of personal way. Like we're in a pandemic and so many people I know have it hard meanwhile this fuck is bragging about redecorating his house while still having the GALL to beg for money. Like bob seems like a genuinely bad person and Chris just seems like a dumbass who doesn't realize how stupid he's acting yet I'm still annoyed by his e-begging.

It doesn't help he does this probably as often as Bob tantrums on twitter, so like dozens of times a day.

He spends entire days just reposting begs and getting no likes or attention (beyond people wanting to tell him to fuck off) each and every time.

Chris’s begging is more infuriating to me because he has zero shame begging for money while simultaneously decrying white cishet male privilege and playing the compassionate progressive card. The lack of self-awareness is breathtaking.

In fact, I just realized that Bob rarely asks for donations. I’m sure he does on videos, but I can’t recall him trying to give himself the hard sell on Twitter. That’s probably down to his inflated sense of self-worth and being above all that dirty capitalism, but still. Where did Chris get the notion that constant begging is cool?

This is the kind of thing you can pull off when you're already famous, when people care how you got there/what your life was like before you were success. No one wants to listen to you shoot the shit with an old work buddy before you've made it.

I disagree as while Chris is a dumbass he still is smart enough to be an engineer, afford to rent a home, and still raise a family. Bob is probably still the dumbest one for his delusions of grandeur and acting like his intelligence will make his success for him without putting any hardwork while Chris probably did put some hardwork and is really a boomer in spirit who overinflates his brother's success (which I have a feeling was caused by Bob's ego when bragging about his job).

IIRC Chris inherited his house from his deceased grandparents, free and clear no mortgage/rent payments.

Cripes. Most beggars at least have the dignity to wait until they have an actual fan base to beg. His YT gets about 50 views per day. Just about anybody who uploads anything monthly for a year or two can get 50 views per day.

Chris likely is begging because he likely assumes (probably because of Bob) that Bob is super famous enough to give him instant fame due to humongous platform that Bob believes he has (hell I believe Bob is the type to heavily exaggerate his achievements and what he does for a living to his family to make himself appear like an intellectual cultural elite)
