Letting the left have their victory now after a year of burning down cities isn't going to make the social climate anywhere close to bearable in the forseeable future. At least if Trump wins and they cry for 4 more years there's a chance they have to take a long hard look at themselves for the next one.
Like a few have said here before, voting for someone because "maybe if we get rid of their boogeyman they'll finally shut up" is a terrible idea for several reasons. One of them being: Do you really think it'll stop after Trump?
Trump hasn't done shit to the protesters, he still won't if he wins, and people won't magically stop protesting if he does. I'm against the violent protests but Trump winning wont do a damn thing about them unless he suddenly tries to get serious (which he won't and never will).
I've never seem them sperg out at someone who approached them remotely respectfully, granted I don't track them or anything. Plus, they're pretty much constantly recipient of a sgetti spill. Seems pretty bearable for a lib tbh

I really can't speak for the legitimacy or otherwise of the video, but it says its called "exposing sunrise" and that's who they are. There was a video of them getting busted with some iffy tactics a few months back like targeting under 18s, encouraging them to not tell their parents , stuff like that.
It's hard to express nuanced opinions in 280 characters. End result of such a controlling communication method being as popular as it is is a breakdown in discourse and making choices binary.
