Just a quick question to the miners. If a robotocist sends down a mining mech, will you use it?

Personally? No. Everyone's gonna want to use the mech because it's a mech, so unless all the Miners are tight with each other, someone's going to be mad gay about claiming it all for themselves.Just a quick question to the miners. If a robotocist sends down a mining mech, will you use it?
There's a time to arm the Clown with Slime Nukes and there's a time to provide the staff with essential equipment, and the former always comes before the latter. (Especially if there's no RD and noone knows how to construct a Research Console)Personally? I'd rather prefer Science just do their jobs and get us the fun stuff like KA mods, Advanced Cutters, and Bluespace BoHs.

Only did Xeno so far. Until Sec busted 2/3-rd of the department for letting a slime lose, then I had to watch as one of my Xenobros got turned into a Borg after confessing under torture.>not just arming the Clown with a H.O.N.K. if you're going to be building mechs anyway
Do you even meme, bruh?
Kiwi shitcurity's shaping up well, I see.Only did Xeno so far. Until Sec busted 2/3-rd of the department for letting a slime lose, then I had to watch as one of my Xenobros got turned into a Borg after confessing under torture.
Hah I remember that. I was the melanated individual running The Pizza Gate who served you free pizza. The death squad was very based.Kiwi shitcurity's shaping up well, I see.
Remember a round from last night where I started as Prisoner, did Prisoner things for a long while, got bored, wrote a note to the AI asking it to alert Sec so I could at least go to Lavaland and do work or something, it ended up letting me out of Security where I proceeded to head down to the bar, got drunk as fuck, Bartender suddenly handed me his shotgun and a bandolier of beanbag slugs to defend myself since there was a laughter demon on the loose, so I spent the next half hour drunkenly shouting provocations into comms for the laughter demon to come at me. Even had a fucking NT Deathsquad come in, see me, armed and drunkenly rambling, and just let me be since I was trying to help. Then, right in the middle of one of the laughter demon's spawns in the kitchen and every armed person nearby jumping in to fight, one Sec officer in the crowd spots me, drops everything he's doing amid the chaos to stunbaton me, everyone else stops, asks what the fuck he's doing, he screeches that I'm a prisoner then proceeds to whip out his Disabler to unload into me, and I swear, the Deathsquad immediately dogpiled and lynched the guy. Pretty funny show.
That's just how SS13 is.So, some questions.
I'm starting to expand my horizons and explore new jobs. I feel like I have Janitor and Chef down pat, and Botany comfy in supplying food.
However, some of the next level complexity stuff I'm hesitant in. I've dabbled in plant mutation. I'd love to make pod people plants to help rez the slain. As well as science, cargo or mining.
However, it seems like the station goes to shit before I can take get any time into it. Is it bad luck? New players starting antag shit too quickly? Is that just how SS13 runs? A lot of nuclear agent, cult, or revolutionary rounds?
It seems like the longer sessions I've seen have been drawn out cat and mouses where I'm dead, the station is inactive but nobodies working to end it one way or the other for twenty minutes. The station only seems to run as a station for about 5-10 minutes before there are corpses and explosions everywhere, everything is on fire or flooded with plasma.
Learn how to keep your head down and use your department's resources to your advantage to defend from antags and greytiders. So, some questions.
