I remember not too long ago, reading shitloads of forums, watching video after video talking about how Trump's victory was illegitimate due to Russian collusion. I remember having to sift through tons of documents and "evidence" that was always half-baked and limited in terms of it doing or saying anything specific. Then being talked down to by literally every slightly-left leaning cunt that disliked Trump because I was skeptical of Russian Collusion.
Now it's happening again, but this time with the right wing followers. Just replace "Russian Collusion" with "Voter Fraud". I would find it annoying if it wasn't hilarious. It's pathetic how quickly the shoe fits right on the other foot.

Here we go with the same song and dance, Republican style. Bring on the autists telling me I'm wrong for being skeptic because their side is right and the others are criminals.

While I do believe there was widespread fraud (there is too much bullshit and too much error to discount. However, that being said, I just don't see Trump winning. Too many miracles in too many states. Too much of the deck stacked against him. And Rudy just never, ever delivers. So, my prediction from weeks ago is that still, Biden will be president.

If you look at the numbers based on history, Biden's win is almost a statistical impossibility. He broke nearly every historical record in ONE election? More black votes than Obama? Joe Biden? The guy who called lids and had rallies with five people in them? The guy with the 1994 crime bill and Harris who basically used black prisoners as slaves? Fucking please. That's laughable.

That being said, Trump has all the guns pointed at him and it'd take a fucking miracle to pull off any sort of win.

I've written off a second term for Trump. It's whatever at this point re: who gets in, but I want some serious goddamn investigation into how we can make elections from here on out much less of an insane mess. It's not about who wins, it's about how they win. This clownshoes bullshit WILL lead to a kind of widespread disenchantment with the system with potentially horrific knock-on effects - anything from elections certifiably and to PUBLIC KNOWLEDGE becoming a game of who cheats better, to people saying "fuck it, I vote from the rooftops". Neither is conducive to things getting better for ANYONE.

The presidential race wasn't even the important one. Dems still lost their bid for senate majority, and Republicans are slated to get the magic "51" number. Dems also lost seats in the House. But, until at least 2022, Mitch McConnell is essentially POTUS. There is nothing significant that Biden will be able to accomplish without the Senate. Court packing? lol nope. Obamacare expansions? lol nope. Gun control? lol nope. They will probably let him eek out a few very minor accomplishments just to avoid the "they only ever obstruct REEEEEEEE" arguments, but his great return to Obama's (read: shitty) American dream? Nope. He can wring his hands and try to bypass Congress with EOs but that can be challenged in the courts and raised to SCOTUS which will shoot down anything unconstitutional.

This election was a very good example of a Pyrrhic victory for the Dems - yeah it looks like they ousted Bad Orange Man. But they put together the "largest coalition in history" and "got more votes than any candidate in history" and they still had to rely on hijinks and a full blown fucking pandemic to even scrape by with what they got, and the Bad Orange Man actually gained a significant number of votes, many more than he had last time, indicating his support has actually grown/cemented itself further. They spent hundreds of millions of dollars to fund Senate races that were a bust and lost their bid for Senate majority, and they are now looking at going into the fruits of their labor with a Senate that is fully opposed to them and 70 million people convinced they stole the presidency. They lost seats in the House - not enough to flip it back to R but enough to show the "blue wave" is receding and that the rank and file Dems are still at risk regardless of what AOC or "the squad" do. There is no significant enthusiasm for Biden, and in the end, winning meant separating from the radical elements on the far left and the progressives, so they have split their own base like it's a Tea Party moment for the left.

2022 may well hand the Republicans the House as well as maintenance of the Senate and 2024 will almost certainly have a Republican president. Whether it will be a shitposting legend like Trump remains to be seen, but after 4 years of failed economic policy, shitty foreign policy, and straight up retarded domestic affairs policy, people will look back to the days of Trump and think "well he might have said some dumb shit but at least I had a house that wasn't in the projects when he was in office"

If I see actual evidence of wide-spread voter fraud happening that influenced the election. Note the term "evidence", not some cherry-picked graphs or random Trumpers claiming shit on Twitter.
