I'm not convinced Boomers are the sole cause of the Millenials'... static nature and it entirely skips over Generation X. Was Gen X the Eunuch generation? As a GenXer I can say that pretty much everything skipped over us. Our pop culture was saturated in Boomer nostalgia and Grunge was in many ways, a reaction against Boomer Culture. An Anti-Style, if you will, with Emo-ness and cynicism being an attack on the naive optimism of the 1960s. Our generation was being sent to the Gulf War to die for oil, but the only Woodstock we got was a bloated, corporate-sponsored mudbath. Our "too cool for school" attitude was mostly self-protective as our Boomer parents divorced on a whim and outsourced our jobs to China and Mexico. I don't think the whole "Acting like a perpetual teenager" thing is exclusive to either GenXers or Millennials, but is more an organic result of the rising costs of establishing careers and having families in the post-90's era. (The Old Economy Steven Meme illustrates young peoples' frustrations at not getting as far in life as their parents had at their age. )

It's possible that Bob Chipman acts like a manbaby because his Boomer parents tried to vicariously live their dreams of perpetual teenagerhood through him, but I think it's more likely that Bob acted like an autistic tard whenever he didn't get his way, and shoving a Nintendo cartridge or a box of McNuggets in his hands and sitting him in front of the TV was the only way his parents could calm him down.
