So apparently Kemp has decided that NOW is the right time to try to be useful, would have been nice if he had made this decision before the fucked up recount.

I bet this only happeend because Mitch fucked storm in his office all coked up and started trashing the place while incoherently ranting about his senate majority.

Ah, but now the timeline benefits Biden, instead of Trump. If he had refused to certify until the audit was done, the time limit would have benefited Trump.

Basically, his stance is "Now that we all agree Biden won, we can maybe double check if there's time."

When the right thing would have been "We don't know who won, so we should double check first."

Why the fuck did it go to hell? Doesn't sound like Rudy did anything wrong and his "plan" was likely just the lawsuits happening.

The media wants Rudy to try his case in the court of the Media. Because the media will then become kingmaker, which they literally have claimed the right to do this entire time. "We officially called it for Biden -- what do you mean, electoral college?"

They don't actually want Trump's legal team to sit on any evidence, because if they do that a judge might find it compelling, or the left might not have time to destroy or alter it in time.

Yeah it's honestly strange how people say there is no evidence because they aren't sharing it to the media when that is some dumb showboating shit. Furthermore, these people who act like Trump literally has no chance at all and not even a sliver sure do not question the strange behavior of those winning and the people who benefit from a Biden win

Do they necessarily have to go nuclear? Can't they do the 'soft option' of refusing to send any electors to the electoral college, thereby guaranteeing a contingent election?

Yeah what do you think would happen (it won't) in this scenario when Republicans attempt to overturn an election and the uprising is quickly put down and everyone involved ends up in prison for life?

That would really be a wet dream for Democrats because they would really be able to consolidate power and punish their enemies. You just haven't really thought this through.

:optimistic: :optimistic: :optimistic:

INB4 he finds a new way to cuck it.
The only thing I can think of is that he's squirming under the spotlight. He's the face of a crisis, and any liberal funny business withers under watchful eyes.

Why would the ballots cast and votes count not be tracked simultaneously?
I know where you're coming from but can you at least admit that aspect of this is dumb?
It's just that one is a spreadsheet that hasn't been updated regularly and another is a web page which gets updated constantly. They're two different sources of info from two different websites. There is nothing mysterious there.

I figured that out in 2 minutes. You have to look with a skeptical eye and try and disprove your own first impressions or you will miss obvious stuff like dates not aligning.

I believe that much of of post-Weimar Germany's economic recovery can actually be attributed to Dr. Hjalmar Schacht, who was president of the Reichsbank.

And yest, post-war large numbers ethnic Germans were forcibly removed throughout Eastern Europe...even as the Nuremberg Trials were charging members of the Nazi party for ethnic cleansing.
Adolf and the German economy is ...complicated to say the least. Between autarky, mefo bills, deficit spending using the plundered items from the annexation of austria, munich conference etc to buoy the german economy but on the other hand you had what could be described as an economic miracle turning germany from the Weimar germany to what it was by '39. There is no simple clean answer though and you will find many people screaming from both sides of the fence with that.

Edit: @make_it_so is correct about Hjalmar Schacht. He really did set Germany on the path it needed.
I think a large part of it is that Socialism tends to have a "honeymoon" period where the country manages to be going alright, as it bleeds out the wealth from the system, and then ends when the government runs out of wealth to spend. National Socialist Germany was able to extend this period by exploiting other nations like Austria, Czechoslovakia, Poland and France once it ran out of its own resources to exploit. By the time that the cracks really started to show, roughly in 1944/45, it is easy for NatSocs to write this off as being due to the Allied bombing campaigns. In other words, Germany killing itself through bad strategic decisions before it could kill itself through bad economic decisions is the greatest thing to ever happen to the cause of National Socialism.

And just goes to show why fascism is a bad idea.
Lets just extend that to all the "-isms" where Big Brother micromanages the economy and thinks it can print out infinite monies for gibs guns.

"Arrest state governments for using their Constitutionally-outlined options"

Speaking of the big F-word, looks like I found a closet specimen.

Off topic from your current ramblings, but I just want to throw this out there.

I just watched my first full segment of newsmax and I must say: If you folks are ditching fox and pretending like newsmax suddenly has different reporting standards and that you won't have your trust taken advantage of, you will be sorely mistaken. Again.

It's just more disingenuous pandering slathered with biased opinion and perspective.

I believe I was the first to say it's right wing biased as hell and reminds me of Fox News around the early Obama years.

However watching Newsmax must be a breathe of fresh air for many right wingers since they cover Trump's fight against the rigging.

Whereas there is ABC News, NBC News, MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, CBS News all singing the same tune that Trump is bad and should resign for destroying democracy and all that other bullshit.

I watched a guest say on Rogan a while ago that at least Newsmax or sometimes Fox News covered some solutions by the Trump administration to the country's problems whereas on the other networks, it's like 95 percent or more negative.

And for a 95 percent negative coverage, the man grew his base which shows how much power has been lost overall if people get tired from hearing the same bullshit everyday.

The usual thing to watch for is votes vs. registered voters.

The thing is Scott Adams said a few days ago that the "no evidence" and "dropped lawsuits" is in reality people not showing their best stuff before court.
