I can come up with one.Just FYI I don't agree with the proposed compromise. I just thought it would be interesting to search for 'Compromise of 2021' and see if anyone had any ideas. If they have ideas that I don't believe will work, which will be most of all of them I'll post them here and explain why I don't think they're workable.
If I find some marvelous autist who has come up with a solution I'll post it here with the words THIS IS THE ANSWER!!!111! in red. In the absence of that, you can assume the proposed solution has serious and probably Republic-ending flaws.
Go before SCOTUS and make a legally binding agreement to:
1: Not pack the courts
2: Allow an independent audit of all states, by an organization of SCOTUS choosing.
3: Make, in no way, any laws or actions to prevent electoral reform.
4: Remain the moderates they are supposed to be.
In return, Trump concedes should those audits find nothing, no further legal action unless SCOTUS deems it necessary.
Then, with Trump as a party to this agreement, watch as he personally uses that agreement to challenge directly to SCOTUS for the next 4 years.
It provides a counterweight to force the Democrats to heel, basically ties the same noose around their neck they had around the Republicans for so long, ensures they stay the fuck out of the states and courts business, and ensures at least one hostile party to vigorously seek action against any breeches.
Note, THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN. It involves giving up a TON of power and possibility by the Democrats in return for their win to be viewed as legitimate. That ain't happening, which is why no compromise will work.
