Can't you just force people who criticize The Party to drink castor oil or something? Addendum: it is also worth noting that Kavanaugh also has a segment in here, him and Gorsuch being the only two deciding judges to write anything. His argument is that certain harm in the future should be considered harm in the now.... which is very interesting in context.

There comes a point where state does trample over religious liberty, and this was definitely the case. Also, I read the Sotomayor and others dissent, and it pretty much boiled down to “there’s too many cases in New York and 295,000 have already died”. Their maid defense was safety, but at this point, that rings hollow, especially since people like Cuomo have endorsed the rioters and protesters, which is many times more unsafe than Corona.

If Roberts is being pissy now it just signals that the five conservative justices have their backs to the wall already so they have nothing to lose. His dissent is just “it’s too early, trust the government to do the right thing” and the two Obama stooges go “you aren’t in the red or orange hazard zones so you can’t file for relief, eat the bugs”

There are moments in the courts history where they really establish themselves as the third branch to balance out, and I think the five conservatives are looking to make that happen again.
