And for a moment i thought that Nintendo was the real monster when comes to fill DMCA's =)
remember when they cancelled a smash tournament a couple of weeks ago?

Well this quite the steps capcom is following from nintendo to become shitty as Fuck

Honestly not that surprising since copyright has always been very strict in japan and I'm pretty sure the way their laws are structured makes Fair use very hard to implement. Null should send them a pic of the south Korean comfort women and tell them to go fuck themselves.

Crapcop is losing it's relevance and can't put out a well selling games unless it's a remake or a sequel to a well established series. All creativity left years ago seemingly, although forcing your deve to divide all the interesting content DLC for a cheap buck probably isn't happening.
There's a reason why they call it View attachment 1750349
And they had a very brief redemption arc going on with Devil May Cry 5 and the Resident Evil 2 remake only to apparently squander it.
All true.

The scary thing is I would still take them over Konami though. Ughhhh...

People have brought up Legends 3 getting killed before release in this thread a few times, and that still fucking burns my ass too. There was a fucking eshop demo for the opening segments of the game in japan, and Capcom's reasoning for killing it of "fans weren't interested enough" was such a fucking lie that even to this day people are shitting on them for cancelling a game people were universally hyped for out of fucking nowhere. Thing is that wasn't the only megaman game they did that to. There was a really fucked up period of time where they'd announce a visibly high effort megaman game, have trailers, demos, or online betas showing it was ready to ship pretty much, and then just drop it. I still want to know what that closed beta of the online megaman co-op game was like that had the fucking weird time travel plot and fully animated cutscenes was going to be like, but it doesn't seem anyone that played the game ever uploaded the footage anywhere. If they did, it was probably DMCAed by capcom.

The fucking leak wasn't even this forum's fault and talking about that shit shouldn't only be reserved for games journo media in Crapcom's goodthink graces.

First a cosplaying whore on the internet with floppy tits then a hobo looking faggot who sued taylor swfit for not using lyrics he written for her, now we have a jap company lol

Despite what the media will tell you about gaming sales doing great the koof has taken a toll on AAA companies due to lack of physical sales, *particularly* japanese companies as imports and exports are being heavily monitored.

Right now they are panicking against anything that may pose a threat to their stock, in the case of Capcom these leaks have already costed them 6% of their stock and about 100 GB of data (out of an alleged 1TB) that may be used in court against them by former or current employees has been leaked so they have every right to panic.
Well, all I can say to them is they should had worried about their integrity as video game creators years ago and studied more about why people and their audience like their video games out in the world outside of Japan instead of listening to faggots on the internet and video game journalists. TL;DR Tough shit, you should have had faith in what you do instead of squandering it on gray and brown shit and piss poor research.

As much as Japanese video games are for the Japanese audience, and the world is going topsy turvy into hell in a handbasket, it honestly sucks that the inspiration anime and video games fostered out west and its history is not being looked at by the Japanese first hand.

Also, a greetings from me to Ms./Mrs. Yuzaki and all of current day Capcom:

Fun fact, you guys once had a fan art section that hosted this. Forever live the true Capcom, Free Hong Kong, and fuck SJW faggotry.

I would still be careful with this one. Any response should be done with a lawyers input, or barring that, extreme care. Jap companies are notorious for being litigious assholes. Just ask anyone who has run afoul of Nintendo. This is not coming from the American branch of Sony like the last round of nonsense. This is pure nipponese nonsense. It won't hurt to at least be polite.

We didn't originally post it. It's literally not our fault it's there.

Its a shocking revelation but asshole corporations like Capcom don't let meaningless things like rights or what the law actually says get in the way of getting what they want. My two cents on this is if their corporate headquarters in Japan bothered to send this, then they mean it, and any responses should be done with the eye it will be brought up in court.
