honestly, at 3k posts in this thread alone, i almost think The Chipman Clan (tm) probably deserves a lolcow subforum all their own. one thread for bob, one thread for chris, one for their horrible orbiters, one for his food abortions...

wait, nm, we already have the rat king for his followers and its somehow fitting that bob isn't even worthy of that
A lolcow subforum for the Chipmans could be interesting in the future, but I'd say we don't need one now. And I maintain my opinion of Chris not being able to carry a thread by himself as is. (Even Brianna Wu can't maintain a subforum alive at the moment, I don't think the Chipmans would be able to either.)

But it's truly fascinating. Chris only started getting attention from the Farms during the end of 2019 for defending Bob from the "Consoomer" meme. As per usual, people tried to warn of what was to come if he went down that path, to no avail. Then he and Bob tried to get someone "fired" in December for reading and mocking Bob's book, but the guy trolled them hard and they both received a lot of blowback on Twitter for trying to get people fired.

Farmers knew about Bob's brother before that but paid no attention to him. You can see on posts like these ones the guy was considered a well-adjusted "what if" version of MovieBob:
FTFY. Chris HAS a life: a wife, a kid, a job, and a house. He goes outside. He spends time with his family. When he goes to his sister's wedding in Cancun, he actually participates in and enjoys the event as opposed to his sad sack of a brother, who's in the background, hunched over his phone, tweeting into the void.
Eh, iirc Chris is a full-time engineer, is married with two kids, doesn't really sperg out on Twitter, and only uses his Patreon in order to do podcasts as a hobby.

In the span of less than a year Chris went from being considered normal and uninteresting to a shameless e-beggar and a main fixture in his brother's thread. I can't say whether he was always like this and we only know now because the Farms started paying attention to him, or if he was less of a sperg before but decided falling down the rabbit hole was worth it if he could become e-famous (he can't, but that's beside the point). All I can say is in this thanksgiving season, I'm thankful for The Chippa for deciding to grace us with his presence in this thread during this year. :heart-full:

And why do we meme about Robert being a eugenicist? What about the people who hate the Farms and still call Robert a eugenicist? How ignorant does one have to blame us for Robert's eugenicist reputation.
Bob could probably get a pass if it was just a one off thing, an edgy joke that fell flat, but given that he keeps referring to a certain group of people as sub-human and inferior. It's pretty clear where his mind is.

What would Bob have to give up if he got religion? The sex (that he isn't having)? The drugs (that he isn't taking)? The pride and hate (that is destroying his life)? The hard-left friends (who don't actually like him and are assholes anyway)? The troons (ditto)? The Superior Future (which was never actually going to happen)? I'm not normally the sort of person to say, "Y'all need Jesus!"... but, maybe Bob does need Jesus. It's not like religion is likely to make his life worse.
At this point, handing him over to a traditionalist Catholic group or to the Mormons would do his soul some good. He strikes me as that kind of kid who REALLY needed a good ass-whooping. I'm not one to condone corporal punishment, but Movieblob is such a lolcow that handing him over to strict religious types who beat kids for misbehaving would probably be a gift bestowed upon him.

The hate and the pride are what make him MovieBob. Compassion and humility would mean his bullies won, and he won't have that. Religion might make his life better, but he's too proud of being a severely lapsed Catholic and looking down on "believers". He might even actually get sex too, if he found a fat, desperate religious woman looking for monogamy rather than thirsting for liberal sluts above a 5 that can get dick from anywhere else.
Isn't compassion and humility showing the world that you're above petty disagreements and pride? Don't such values put him above the "bullies" he hates?

Also, a fat religious woman who really cares for you is a far better catch than some random leftist SJW slut who's probably got ten ex-boyfriends/girlfriends already. All you'd need to do is to get her to a 12-step diet program and make sure to watch what she eats. Then in 3 years' time she'll look just as good as those college girls, with the one exception being that her heart won't be for sale.

Chris went from being considered normal and uninteresting to a shameless e-beggar and a main fixture in his brother's thread.
The saddest mid-life-crisis. At least he has the marriage/kids/career to regret, unlike his brother who is permanently stuck in adolescence.

If it was this easy why is Bob so fat?

Because Bob doesn't even try. If Boogie can shred some fat, so can Movieblob.
Bob needs is small snack of four Big Macs, three large sodas, and 40 piece nuggets though. You don’t understand how hard it is to be Bob. If he didn’t eat all of this daily, he’d waste away to nothing.

EFAP mentioned Moviebob again:
(Fair warning, it's an 11 hour stream, but the Moviebob part starts around timestamp 31:00)
Huh, so that's where the "Judy Blume got me a threesome" story came from. Also, fuck me these assholes cannot stay on topic. It takes an hour to get to the point that guy wanted to specify, no wonder this is 11 years old.

But yeah, that is such incel talk.

Exactly. What a lot of fedora tippers fail to realize is that with humans, ideas contribute to natural selection too - and Christianity had some great ideas to it that gave it many evolutionary advantages. (And given the reproduction rate of atheists, it looks like the religions still win the natural selection game.)

Or it could be the content of their beliefs...

Yep. I'm not one of those who hate AOC so much I will deny her attractiveness
those teeth though...

I feel bad for Bob, I hope someday he'll get wise and find Jesus.

Honestly, I long for more Jesus freaks and fewer woke idiots like Blob. Yes, they seem to see Satan in everything remotely fun or interesting. But, as I look back, the 80s and 90s when they were on top were pretty good.

The religious nuts who saw demons in everything fun were the occasion, not the norm. I remember the Pope even blessed Pokemon while local bishops, both Catholic and Protestant, had little to no issue with Harry Potter, Dungeons and Dragons, or any of that fantasy shit. Hell, the Catholic High School I grew up with has the kids playing Yu-Gi-Oh cards and the deeply religious teachers laugh it off as a local tradition. Whereas every other fantasy and sci-fi, be it Halo, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, or Chronicles of Narnia, had Christian allegories and symbolism present, while I remember some seminarians and even priests were big comic book geeks back when comic book heroes weren't as popular or done to death as they are now.

Things were just better back then, because people actually had to try. They didn't have the internet tell them all the answers. Nowadays, we have all the technological power in the world to create ground-breaking media, and at most, we make prettier copies of what came before. Just look at what happened to the Halo series, for example. A series Movieblob loved to bash for "fascism". In the early 2000s it was a tale wrapped in religious symbolism and the fight for humanity, while the story was basically the Star Wars equivalent of the Parable of the Bad Tenants, where the Covenant, who have been using Forerunner tech and revered them as gods, rejected their human descendants because their leaders would rather not share power with living descendants of their gods. Now, Halo is just one of the many generic army man shooters people play when they're wasted, with the best idea coming from them in recent years being "shoot alien apes for the umpteenth fucking time", an idea which was already done to death by Halos 3, ODST, and Reach.

His worldview is basically a 12 year old's version of Calvinism, but with Mario and moon wheat instead of Jesus and pearly gates. Some people, in Bob's case, are literally unsalvageable for no reason other than where they were born. Why? Because muh Superior Future. Even though his Superior Future is absolutely imbecilic.
Sure fits the Bostonian posturing. Yankeedom was arguably founded on Calvinism.

If Chris is as panicked about finances as he claims, he should have responded to that “tree help wanted” sign at the Christmas tree farm. Because here’s how his begging is going: same as usual, fucking crickets. Not even his own wife, mother or siblings can be bothered to throw him a like, let alone his other family and friends. No one cares or wants your shit, Chris.

Wokeism appears to have cribbed off of Calvinism because of Calvinism's doctrine of predestination. Some people are bound for heaven, some for hell, and according to the doctrine, that cannot be changed. This premise is the root of the woke's dismissal of "irredeemable mayonnaise white ghouls". Catholicism doesn't cotton to predestination like that, so it's odd that Bob seems to have at least embraced a version of it.

You can take the Christ out of Calvinism, but you can't take Calvinism out of Yankeedom. Hence why even the SJWs separate people into two categories: the "correct" people, and the deplorables, just as the Calvinists separated people between the saved and the damned. Modern America has cast off God from the colleges and the media, but they still act like Calvinists, even without God.

Which is ironic, considering that ancient Christianity, be it Catholicism or Orthodoxy, preached rather hard on the effect of your deeds determining whether or not you will be saved. The Parable of the Sheep and the Goats was Christ effectively telling people that if you don't help your fellow man, you are close to suffering hellfire. You're not just magically saved or damned based on an arbitrary choice, you have to save yourself and others, not just with faith, but also with actions.

Bob can't understand that the very same people he sees as untermenschen have as much value as the people he sees as the "correct" kind of people, and it is their actions, not their words, which determines their worth.

Bob didn't like his experience in a Catholic school. So I'm not that surprised that he'd go for Catholicism's polar opposite, at least in terms of ideology. And SJW woke philosophy is Calvinism without Christ, so it suits Bob's mental state perfectly. He gets to reject the faith he despised, and he doesn't even have to pretend to love the God whose faith he rejected.

yeah the whole salvation thing is kinda complex, in that works do not in and of themselves "save" a person, BUT, "faith without works is dead".

The sheep and the goats is more akin to those who listen and obey (sheep) and those who like Cartman on South Park are like "Eff you, I do what I WANT" (goats). Lack of compassion for others, or at the very least failing to do something about someone's down-on-their-luck-ism, is taken to be evidence that one is not actually of the right mindset TO be saved, because of what's in a person's heart. But basically it's the faith that saves you, not the works, but the works show that you're saved.

Sort of how Moviebob and his woke ilk use "virtue signalling" to show that they're "on the right side of history", except with the woke virtue signalling, it's purely for show. Virtue signalling is a lot like the Pharisees whose tendency to do very public works to draw attention to themselves and how great they are (see: The Pharisee and the Tax Collector), while their hearts within were quite different. Which is why Jesus said give in secret/anonymously.

Virtue signaling is the modern equivalent of praying loudly in public to show how virtuous you are. And Jesus had a pretty low opinion of that shit.

"And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly." Matthew 6:5-6.

Twitter has to be the biggest collection of hypocrites ever put together since Jesus said this.
