Trump Enslavement Syndrome - Orange man good. /r/The_Donald and any public demonstration of rabid pro-Trump enthusiasm in spite of all reason.

Begging your pardon, folks, but did any of you hear Trump put out a 45-minute long rant about the election was stolen?

Funny how he keeps talking about how it was stolen and it's so obvious yet his lawyers have yet to even try to prove it in a court of law.

His supporters think he's saving all the evidence for the Supreme Court, because wasting tons and tons of time and money in the lower courts to intentionally lose repeatedly is 64th Dimensional chess or something.

Law and Order/CSI/Matlock was a mistake

Because in reality "Saving evidence" for a higher court sounds like a great way to get slapped with contempt charges (or something like that, there's zero chance not allowing a lower court to resolve an issue instead of wasting the Supreme Fucking Court's time is ok)

Nope. Nobody is paying any attention to that weirdo any more. Nobody cares.
Plenty of Trump simps are. He could tell them the sky is purple and they'd believe it

I still find it utterly hilarious that Trumpies genuinely think arguably one of the most conservative Democrats right now is a far-left authoritarian communist. Even progressives like Bernie and AOC are considered center-left in the grand schemes of world politics. The Overton window is so shifted to the right in America that it’s insane.

EDIT: It’s not clock like someone pointed out, it’s window.

My biggest mistake on this website was posting about the Bialystok pride parade in A&H. Had so many people LARPing as historical figures try to justify reports of gangs of grown men beating the everloving shit out of and throwing rocks and glass bottles at teenagers.

Literally not allowed. The Supreme Court doesn't give a flying fuck about evidence in 99% of cases, and they will tell you to fuck off if you try to introduce any.

You have Minneapolis and Portland to thank for that overgeneralization.

SCOTUS can frequently decide a case based on public opinion or how its viewed to be shifting. Its close to impossible to imagine SCOTUS in 1980 deciding that a ban on gay marriage was unconstitutional even if you brought the same arguments brought in 2015.For all this talk about the Constitution the truth is SCOTUS can often decide based on how things have shifted among the public.Which is why frequently certain decisions are reversed decades later.

While the Supreme Court often opines on stare decisis and similar common law principles, they are actually only bound by the Constitution itself. They can quite easily simply declare they were wrong in previous opinions and that the actual text of the Constitution is what binds them. This is likely how they will rule in a number of cases that will shock and horrify liberals. Just saying.
