Does Virginia have the power to quarantine him or force him to get tested? I am legitimately curious.

As far as Ralph seeing his kid, the power there is %100 with Faith. In California she can simply leave him off the birth certificate. He has no legal rights until he challenges it. All of the costs incurred to challenge his right are on Ethan Ralph. From what I understand, it’s pretty expensive to hire lawyers for that kind of case. Once he is proven the father, he will then be ordered to pay up child support. California has some of the most expensive lawyer fees and child support in America. He will be paying high California prices with his podunk Southern income.

If she's using public assistance, they won't allow that. I know of at least one state that requires you to identify the father to get any assistance (e.g. health care). That state covers costs up front then bills the father for them. If the father doesn't pay, the state will sell your debt off to debt collectors and eventually (after a year or so) put you in an ankle bracelet or into the county jail to convince you to start paying your fucking bills. I know a guy that got more than a year of jail time over unpaid child support because he had income and had paid zero child support.

I don't know if i'm imagining it, but last night it seemed as if Ralph can barely stand Gator, later Andy, and now May. First I thought he was quietly pissy at Gator because it took a LOT of effort for Ralph to even try to say something, like real mental and physical effort, and every time he tried to say something Gator would cut him off and continue mindlessly filling in the dead air.

I had same impression with Andy. It's like talking, pronouncing words was hard for Ralph, and he disliked being interrupted after putting that much effort. Pretty sure he was aware of his inability to run his own show and was having inner tantrum over it the entire show. I expected he'll burst out at Warski at any moment. Now with May he's trying to find a radio program to try and hide the obvious fact that him and her have nothing to talk about. It's only shallow, meaningless small talk filler. Even if they are fucking, there is nothing more between them.

I hope he gets arrested asap, I have unsettling feeling he might hurt someone other than himself.
