No one wants Nuclear war because it would as the old "Wargames" movie shows, it would just result in mutually assured destruction. It only really applies to non Nuclear states trying to strongarm a Nuclear capable state. And aise from that, no ones going to get into a landwar with China, or China with anyone else, since they are an economic superpower. It's why China wants control of the major shipping lanes.
Not entirely necessarily. It's a big mess of psychology and target selection that probably stands a reasonable chance of not devolving into a MAD scenario, but rather understandably, nobody wants to be the one to test that theory. If somebody eventually does, and the result is anything other than MAD? Then I expect that nuclear weapons will slowly find themselves being downgraded to just another form of artillery.

Barnes did a video on his locals board where he explains the texas case.

To very quickly sum up his viewpoint he believes that if SCOTUS hears the case it will be a game changer as ruling in favor of Texas attracts much less problems that ruling on some of the other cases and it's also a solution that addresses all of the contested states at once.

I'd be mad too. How in the hell could you vote a gorilla over Trump? Ape shit.
I know someone who voted Harambe this election. It is so he can keep his "rebel" status while pooh-poohing the system.

"Well, I voted for a dead gorilla to show that I don't support either choice. I can be angry about Trump and then claim that I take no responsibility for Biden's nonsense. For I am a rebel you see. I have no side except my own. I duck responsibility and pout like a petulant child because my ideal candidate (Bernie) got screwed over."

And yes, it is as insufferable as it sounds.

Just thought the minor subtitle change would be relevant given these current times

Seriously, I don't care if Biden ends up being inaugurated or Trump retakes the Presidency, I've been enjoying the spergery from all sides of the political autism spectrum, that's all I need to say

Did you ever think it'd end up this crazy when you made this thread?

I bet you're really wishing for Jeb Jo to win.

No...but in the coming days, expect the Blue Checkmarks to start spazzing out about how the evil racist white southerners are at it again and that Joe Biden needs to crush them to save Our Democracy ™️ !

I'm going to be honest - I'm really skeptical about the whole "4D chess" thing. I'm more inclined to believe Trump's team was flailing about legally speaking, but other people unrelated to them were quietly watching from behind the scenes and working to get an actual workable case put forward. Texas isn't doing this for Trump - Texas is most likely doing this because they know a Biden administration is going to fuck them six ways from Sunday.
Cruz has made it clear that he and the gope thinks trump winning or losing isn't as important has losing the senate. But they need trump to win if they want voters to turn out in GA.

They need to FIGHT if they want people to turn out. Don't have to WIN per say. But they have to at least pretend.

The political environment was, I wouldn't say less insane, but maybe slightly more subdued? I created the thread only months before the Christchurch shootings, as well as a whole year before COVID and George Floyd became serious problems.

Between the time after Christchurch and before the latter two events, virtually everyone expected this to be a cakewalk for Trump, or if not that, at least he probably would've slightly expanded his winnings in the election. With both COVID and George Floyd coming into play, a few people did start to acknowledge the possibly of a Biden win, but held out hope that Trump would still succeed over him, which didn't happen, and everyone on all sides is now sperging to high heavens, especially a month on with legislatures nationwide beginning to certify the winner in their respective states.

I bring up Christchurch because as far as I know, that event ended up marking the surge in new Kiwi Farmers that leaned further right politically than most users were up to that point, though these users were not too visible up until this year, with more users coming in due to the aforementioned events above causing another surge in users, some of whom were far more radical in their politics than others.

In any case, the political environment now is a tad bit different from the political environment of February 10, 2019; not all that different, but everyone's just far too radical now than they were over a year ago.

I don't care about the vote for Harambe itself, honestly. People are free to do whatever the heck they want with their votes, and I refuse to play the "third party/write-in candidate ruined ______'s chances in this state!" game. It's dumb and it's pointless. As if those people were going to vote for either the Republican or Democrat anyway.

That said, if someone brags about their Harambe vote while claiming some moral high ground ... Then, yeah, that person is a dipshit who acts every bit as "morally superior" to the voters of the main two parties.

It's only going to get worse with all the election fraud stuff. Either Trump wins and the country burns like it did this summer or Biden wins and half the country thinks he cheated to win.

No matter what, half the country will think there was cheating; to the lemming proletariat, Biden won and that’s the end of the conversation. If somehow Trump is president on January 20th, they’ll think it was literal evil magic

Trump winning means America avoids turning into a third world shithole for the next couple of decades.

I can handle a legitimate Biden win. What I refuse is the cocksucker being rigged in.
