Veritas has them on record as planning on court packing. They want to add 3 more justices to overrule the Constitutionalists.

My, hope there's no contentious SCOTUS case that might interfere with these plans.
So that basically means that Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barret, Samuel Alito and all the other Republican Justices just had their careers (and power) threatened by the people who disobeyed them. Smooth.

20 State's Arguments:

  • Texas has no right to second guess courts who are blatantly violating the constitution and go to the SCOTUS, the place that literally exists for this purpose
  • Also, COVID COVID COVID and here, have a Strawman Argument about what Texas ISN'T arguing.
Not sending their best.

MI response...

  • SCOTUS shouldn't take this up.
    • Because SCOTUS doesn't have the ability to intervene in... inter... state... disputes.
      • Because there's totally not a case here!
      • And SCOTUS doesn't have the authority anyway
    • MOTHERFUCKING MUH LACHES
  • And even if they do take this up, there's no actual relief possible
    • Because, uh, the Electors Clause isn't a thing
      • No standing no standing no standing
      • And we didn't violate nuffin!
    • And the Equal Protection Clause isn't a thing
    • Nor is Due Process
  • Texas doesn't qualify for relief
    • Because Texas can't win this! Please agree before we actually have a trial
    • And even if we did rig the election in MI for Biden, it's not like Texas is HARMED by it.
    • And if you DO stop us from stealing elections, we WILL be harmed!
    • Won't someone think of the children?
>muh deboonked
>muh laches
>muh 49 gorillion lawsuits dismissed

Fuck me I told you it'd be retarded
Georgia phoned it in.

Badly.

  • Texas lacks standing
    • Texas was not injured by a stolen national election
    • Texas cannot speak on behalf of it's electors, who are the only people who could be harmed, but are specifically prohibited from suing about this
    • Texas claims to speak for it's citizens which are third parties and thus they can't actually sue for a third party
  • This is political and messy, so the SCOTUS should refuse to do anything
    • Texas is demanding we adhere to the Constitution and we'd rather do our own thing, ergo Texas should just shut up
  • This isn't a big enough thing to justify a state suing another state
    • One state rigging it's local election and causing a national election to swing another way is not, in fact, controversial
    • Texas totally could do something other than a Lawsuit, ergo, they shouldn't be allowed to sue
  • Texas hasn't proven it's case yet so the case should be thrown out
    • Because we think Texas will lose
    • And because Texas wasn't harmed by us stealing an election
    • And anyway the media and popular vote agree with us so shut up
  • Texas isn't entitled to a fair national election, anyway

Wisconson at least tried a little better.

  • SCOTUS shouldn't hear this case
    • Because Texas has no interest in us violating the constitution and stealing an election
    • And besides, our local courts already said everything was fine
    • And if you don't throw this out, we'll say mean things about the SCOTUS and it'll harm democracy
  • MOTHERFUCKING MUH LACHES. BITCHES LOVE MUH LACHES
    • Texas waited too long to sue, they should have sued the picosecond the election started and not after actually creating a case
    • Our voters (including the fake ones) have due process rights and Texas is trying to violate them
      • Also, the plain text part of the constitution that says we can't do this doesn't exist, so please stop looking at it
  • Texas doesn't actually make a claim other than the claims we already tried to shoot down but those don't exist, so please ignore them.
    • We might have unconstitutionally changed our laws but that doesn't mean it's a constitutional violation
    • Texas can't sue on behalf of it's voters, therefore it can't claim due process or equal protection
    • Also, Texas's claims (that don't exist, remember) are meritless
      • Because the WI Supreme Court changed the law, which they're allowed to do, even though they're actually not
  • And besides, Texas can't justify stopping the election from being stolen to actually sue, so we shouldn't stop the stolen election to do this
Arrogant-ass motherfuckers! I'm looking forward to the day that SCOTUS tells them to eat a bag of dicks.

So THAT'S why Biden said that we "didn't deserve to know" whether he'd pack the courts or not - because he knew damn well that he would.

Honestly, would be fine with that. It means that the 2024 election has a clear legal remedy if things repeat, and it would provide 4 years for people to shore up and oust the RINOs meaning that the worst case scenarios are averted.
Much like how the RINOs were supposed to be kicked out since 2010? I’ve seen nonstop agitprop that we’re supposed to vote for RINOs running for the Senate for Georgia. That doesn’t even count the Republicans who have shifted further to the left over time like Miss Lindsey.

James, every conservative has known the plan has to be court packing. It’s #2 on the list of Democrat pet projects after amnesty. And if the idea to to get it to the general public, not only will it be buried and potentially scrubbed off the Internet, but you have to convince the likes Steve from North Dakota and bill from Alaska why court packing is a bad thing.
To be fair that guy might be bullshitting too. Aka 'What do I need to promise you to make you vote for Ossoff? Six new SCOTUS judges? I'll offer you three."

Ossoff is just some jobber. There's no way he'd be in on the number of SCOTUS justices they're planning on adding.

Also 9+3=12. It's a bad idea to have an even number of judges because it would make deadlock possible. So the number added should be a multiple of 2.
Except to court packing, isn’t the number of justices ultimately irrelevant? They just need enough to cement a clear advantage, and they can you the justice act or whatever else to make it happen.

Damn, the Texas lawsuit has really got Redditors and leftists worried.

A Message to Traders on Settling 2020 Election Markets

Dear Trader,

Many of you have written to us to ask about the timeline for closing the remaining election markets, or to advise either that we take action or refrain from doing so. We want you to know we are listening to you and appreciate your input.

As you know, as of this moment, the outcome of the presidential election in several states still remains the subject of litigation in state and federal courts, including the US Supreme Court. This has created unprecedented uncertainty well beyond the time that election markets normally settle.

In light of these ongoing disputes, PredictIt currently anticipates that we will begin settling markets on individual state results in accordance with each market’s rules only after electors have cast their votes on Dec. 14, unless in our view there is a conclusive outcome before then.
In the meantime, traders who wish to exit their positions should be able to sell their shares, as trading continues in most markets at this time.

Thank you for your patience.

I could have cashed-out on election night and got like a ~250% windfall yet, but nooo, had to go for that 400%.

WI's brief is >80% focused on the procedural question of why TX shouldn't have standing (which I will ignore here) Their treatment of "indefinitely confined" ballots is laughable: "you didn't *PROVE* it matters" [yeah, that's what discovery is for]

Three supreme court justices are over the age of 70, with Breyer being REAL fucking old. The average age of retirement is about 73.5 for SCOTUS justices. All three are conservatives.

There is an absolute certainty they're going to Scalia one or more of those judges during a Biden/Harris administration. Maybe packing on more justices will prevent that, or maybe they'll do both because why not, they have ultimate power and moral authority.

Can we talk more about this? Looks like Mike Pence about to smother Pompeo.

Every state punching each other and meanwhile Ohio's like:

As an Ohioan I'd like to say that it's our sense of fair play. We are the state that's kicked the most asses of other states. There's that time Michigan got a case of butt hurt and tried to fight us for Toledo, forever cementing Michigan's legacy of being pants on head retarded, it's fucking Toledo. There's also a few generals, like Grant, Uncle Billy Sherman, Sheridan, and the Custers before they got too big for their britches, that came from Ohio. Shit, we even gave the Southerners their beloved Dixie before kicking their ass.

I'd like to think we're waiting for the best moment to step in. But it's really that DeWine is a spineless RINO cuck and our state house is short the two or three votes they'd need to override his vetos and potentially impeach the useless manlet. As for which side Ohioans would want supported? It's not the dementia patient.

What’s the conspiracy around Scalia? What’s there to benefit from as a result of killing him? Why would you kill him to begin with?

They found him dead with a pillow over his face at an Obama donor's ranch. They tried to replace him with Merrick Garland before Obama left office, but Cocaine Mitch cockblocked them.

So is the conspiracy “kill Scalia and replace him with Garland”? That’s the conspiracy. That’s really lame, especially since you could have gotten the same result if they convinced RBG to retire.
