We'll see if he posts from the SF airport during the layover. As to his money situation, he said he gets a check every Monday, so he's got some cash with him. On that note, i'm genuinely surprised that adding the itsnotinthecards stuff didn't automatically send an update alert to his email to inform him of the change. Usually those sorts of things do. and if it did and he still didn't see he was getting played he really does deserve whatever he gets, cause t here is absolutely no excuse for being THAT stupid. Not even for lucas. You couldn't give him a more blatantly obvious proof of it being a catfish than that

I'm also surprised they didn't ask at the terminal, if only to confirm that there would or would not be someone boarding with him as a matter of common sense procedure. There is no way they could have cause that absolutely would have resulted in lucas causing a scene on the spot

and speaking of layovers, what do you think the odds are that he fucks that up and misses boarding on the second flight, getting stuck in SF. I can see it happening if he gets lost or distracted.

....and if by chance that does happen, the catfish could use it as an out to say 'well you didn't show up so I left cause clearly you aren't as serious about me as I am about you' so lucas would think he fucked it up himself and wouldn't realize he had been catfished...he may even make a point of defending the catfish after that. He's stupid enough to do something like that

Gotta admit as well, did not see him doing it. It’s amazing and hilarious to remember that earlier today he was posting screechy all caps demands on IG for someone to throw him a young girlfriend while he was on his way to go move in with a woman he claims is in love with him.

and that is the best part. Even while thinking he was getting what he wanted he was still making demands for more or something better. and he calls everyone else greedy ffs. This incident has the added bonus of instant karma. If the catfish read that stuff yesterday that would be an even better out - waiting till after he lands and messages asking why shes not there. She could say she saw the posts he made wanting another woman and considers that cheating on her and isn't about to go through moving a guy in to her place who cheats on her while waiting for the plane to come to her. Topping it off with saying 'thats greedy' to really rub it in. Lucas would be furious

Ehhh the gates are in the same terminal. If it's the same one United used when I was flying between WA and CA a lot, it's basically one big room with a few restaurants (which may be closed?) so it'd be pretty hard to fuck it up.

Realistically it would have to be the first one, as given that he's legally disabled and prone to trying to cause problems for people who fuck with him the airline would be foolish to mess with him on 16. All he would have to do is start screeching about hateful bigots and such in the terminal and that would give their lawyers fits. Lucas has proven over and over that he is a selfish prick so it would not be a surprise to be en route to live with a woman who is too fat/old/ugly for him while continuing to look for a better wife on the internet.
