We'll see of EVS' endorsement gets him to his (much lower than KS) goal. Looks decent. I might pick it up for $5 if I saw it in my LCS.

If it had tits on it, it'd look like a thing you'd see featured on the Escher Girls blog. It looks like the top half of a 6'5 guy welded to the bottom half of a 5' guy. If it didn't have that swooshy computer gradient I could mistake it for a skydiving-onto-the-concrete pose. Liam made himself known from the days when I was on Facebook. He'd follow my family members on their facebook pages and attempt to interact with them.

My read on him was that he was a boundary stepping super-fan, of which I should be cautious.

Liam doesn't understand how weird or intrusive he is. There are lots of people like him on the internet, that believe if they REALLY admire someone, and try to make themselves very helpful and available, they'll eventually break into their inner circle of friends and acquaintances. When it doesn't work out like that, they'll get very upset about all the work they did, which didn't get them what they wanted, and they'll blame their idol for it.

I think that recently I believed that he'd found his fame, and thus his place, and maybe he'd just become a good e-celeb and indie comic book writer. I didn't realize he was still so fixated on me.

What these people all do on the internet is their private business. Nobody was asked to keep quiet, at least not by me or on behalf of myself. I would guess everyone had their own reasons.

Andy was on the aborted ComicsGate Art Auction stream a couple of weeks back.

We tried to hold an art auction, but didn't realize we were competing against the Tim Pool/Alex Jones livestream. We only had about 700 viewers, and the bidding was sparse, so we sold two items and then called it off!

Anyhow, he tells me he's ComicsGate, and he's always been conservative, so we'll see! He's a very traditional superhero artist of the Bart Sears school...I think we did a couple of books together at DC.

I don't think people like him can see how overblown their flattery is. A normal person would proof read those messages before sending them and think "I sound like an obsessed stalker. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a stranger talking to me this way."
The problem is that many of them are so cripplingly lonely that they WOULD feel comfortable with someone talking to them that way. So even if you forced Liam to read every message he's ever sent to Frog, he'd just go "what, I'm just being supportive."
