As I said, I believe climate change does exist and I believe it is a crisis, but we have to solve this crisis as a planet and unless China and India cut down on emissions along with the West, any climate agreements aren't worth the paper they're written on.

The problem with any climate change initiative/deal is the people writing them are watermelons (green on the outside, red on the inside). All the shit that lobby ever churn out us basically international socialism/communism by the back door which just discredits their cause. There are plenty of perfectly reasonable ways to lessen our impact on the planet without going full Marx but these people will never pass up a crisis as an opportunity to forward their other causes.

My big issue with right-wingers, as a right-winger myself, is that they just don't want to compromise to issues that shouldn't be exclusive to positions in the political spectrum, such as the environment and help for people on the lower scales of socioeconomical backgrounds. The left has no qualms in doing it, as warped and misguided their ideas of justice usually are in practice, and as such they gained the clout of being the "defenders" of justice, equality and what have you.

I'm all for guaranteeing equal rights for everyone, good quality education for all, and even universal healthcare, but you won't see me carrying rainbow flags or put slogans in my LinkedIn page. That's empty virtue signaling and it does nothing to help.
I simply treat people with due respect and dignity, which is all someone in my position could do. I don't need, for instance, to declare myself a damn feminist to treat women well, because treating people well, at least to my understanding, is simply common sense. All those movements do is to make people look at them with even more disdain than before.
