People on this thread seem to be glossing over the CP thing. Like, the two-year age difference isn’t as much of an issue as the pictures of a minor. There’s no substantive difference between 18 years and 17 years, 364 days. But that said, we as a society recognized that when people are younger, they can’t fully understand the ramifications of their decisions. So we decided “okay, we have to draw the line somewhere,” and said that 18 = adulthood, and creating, receiving or sending pictures of minors is child pornography. There’s always a victim - it’s the child who made the misinformed (and often stupid) decision to post the picture.
Carson decides that he’s going to reject the societal law of “if you solicit pictures of a minor you’re a deviant” and does it anyway. Society drew a necessary (if somewhat arbitrary) line and he said fuck it. It’s child pornography, end of story. He knew that, and knew that he was no longer a minor himself, and he didn’t care.

I mean if you think it's divided here, just wait until more YouTubers start weighing in on the situation. Honestly, I also wouldn't hold your breath when it comes to anything more then people wanting him off the internet, there are already plenty of examples of YouTubers engaging in this sort of thing (quite a few in much 'harder to excuse' situations) and only really being pushed off the platform at worst.
Something to add to what your saying too (that in itself is kinda depressing) but I'd say Carson's popularity is a double edged sword in this situation. Yes, more people will want to defend him because he's popular (just look at Pyro), but at the same time, I think the only reason people are hearing about this at all is because Carson is popular in the first place. I guess if you want a bright side to this situation at all, we can at the very least be thankful he didn't physically stick his dick in any of his underage fans.

A bit more info from behind the scenes. The situation unraveled over time to be more serious than it was described to be by Carson. His friend circle was there to support him, unknown why, and they had a watch party in Discord for the interview. Over the span of the video people started to leave, understanding what it was about.
I feel like making a writeup about this situation as it's not as black and white it's made out to be.
About the pregnancy game, I'll chime in with what I remember about it. I think I've seen it reviewed by some fat neckbeard I randomly stumbled upon, and the game's less about sex and more about the topic of abortion and how the protagonist handles the situation, with two endings being she gets the abortion or not.

The allegations have been swirling for awhile that Carson was sexting underage(17yo) girls when he was 19. This allegedly started out in March when he called a fellow Lunchclub member Noah Hugbox about him sexting minors, before going in to tell the whole group leading to them breaking up. Allegedly, he's admitted this in video calls and is freely talking about it on discord recently. This has gotten to the point where at least one accuser has coming out on twitter to release screenshots.
He sent and received nudes from a 17-year-old minor as a 19-year-old adult. This is a crime, for each instance, both ways.
The contention is not the age gap. It is the potential criminal liability, the use of his e-celeb status to solicit nudes from fans, and the very high likelihood he has done this with other fans.

In this screenshot he claims to have made up with the ladies but according to his former cohosts and accuser making the accusations that's not true.
Keem is pushing these allegations really hard with so little proof, 1 accuser and 2 former cohosts claiming this is suspicious. However with the amount of screenshots, recordings of discord and lack of people defending Carson it really seems to me there's validity to at least the allegations he was pressuring 17yos into nudes.
Now on the question of the 17yo with a 19yo situation. I honestly don't see much issue with a 2 year age difference, it's not like a 14yo dating an 19yo. However, when you're a big time youtube creator and it's a fan of yours who's underage who you're trying to pressure into sending you CP through your influence, that's repugnant. You're using a place of authority to try to get somebody to break the law and do something they're clearly not comfortable with. That's just to speak to Sam and ex-Lunchclub's accusations, I can't speak on any that come out.
While a 19 yo sexting a 17 yo is obviously exceptional & Carson, this Sam chick is really stretching the meaning of the term "grooming", the way she came out about it wreaks of fishing for attention imo. She makes no indication she's reported it to authorities, filed a restraining order, or really anything else you'd expect of someone who seriously believes they were sexually coerced. The whole bit about the police not caring about reports of sexual or lewd activity with a minor is such a load, if there's one thing most of the police still care about, it's that.
