So you're saying that the "commission culture" is the fact that people can't understand that to be able to live off of commissions requires a very specific set of skills drawing very specific artwork, on top of fuckloads of luck, so they jump on it too thinking "hell this'll be easy" and completely end up in the financial gutter as a result?
Yep. It's especially stupid when you consider the fact that the commission culture is effectively a race to the bottom where you literally have people auctioning themselves off as "art slaves" for like $3 a day. Although in all fairness a lot of the people who do this are 18-year-old girls living with their mom and trying to get out of finding a job.
I didn't know that people blow their money on porn in the fandom. How sad, shit. Lemme guess, is it porn of their fursona? because I can't imagine that wanting to buy generic porn in a place that is overflowing with it is a good idea.
Well of course, either that or they have a very specific fetish or their waifu or whatever is somewhat obscure and doesn't have too much porn. If you wanna see how stupid this shit gets, check out the story of good ol' Allan, A.K.A. Lupine Assassin. I'm pretty sure he's been mentioned before but it's a good example of what happens when these 18-year-olds grow up to become 40-somethings and don't learn a fucking thing.
