the fact she pre and post debuted, its a clear sign of not putting enough effort to pull out decent content lmao. at this point its like a broken record with the daily lame & wasted joke ´´I'M GAY´´ so sad ;PJust in case it becomes something worth investigating at some point (I don't think it is currently, but you never know), I know for a fact that somewhat notablepornartist yoru was/is a part of Artemis' little clique given how much she hyped the fuck out of Artemis pre- and post-debut, including but not limited to this fanart she drew of her self-insert with Artemis. There's also another indie related to the two of them that seems to run in their circle.
Literally the spergiest thing I've noticed about them as a whole is how they all come off as horny sex pests towards each other while acting all "uwu cute" about it, but it might be worth keeping loose tabs on them in case something lolworthy happens.
We call those people, pedophiles. Some people like Coca-Cola like Gura, some people like Value Brand Orange Flavored Soda pretending to be Coke like Artemis.
Worse still are that Japanese companies are super number/stat oriented. If you want them to make a decision that goes against their long held beliefs, you better have some fucking numbers to back it up. So then we enter a very Chicken and Egg scenario. Most people know that Let's Plays bring in sales for games. But without any hard statistical evidence to back up that claim, no JP company is willing to be the first to break from the pack and take the jump. And with no one willing to make the jump, there's no way to gather evidence.I believe that a lot of Japanese companies essentially don’t agree with the idea that Let’s Plays are transformative.
In other words, they view people watching the stream as potential lost sales (in spite of discussion a few pages back about how many of us bought a number of games from watching this year.) similar to how Western companies used to act as if every single torrented copy of a game would have otherwise been a sale.
I didn’t think I need that. One minor criticism that I have is that she seems to say every sentence in the exact same cadence. Not that big a deal but it comes off as less natural to me imoI remember a discussion here about Spanish-speaking vtubers.
Today, for whatever reason (I watched Lulu Suzuhara's Yakuza 0 stream for a while), this video has been advertised to me:
Sadly the only things in Spanish I know are "hola", "playa naturista" and swear words, so I have no idea what the fuck is going on.
Someone asked to 'decrypt' the statements so this is what I got:II. NO COMMERCIALIZATION
• Non-Commercial Use: We do not allow Capcom content and other materials to be used to make money or to gain any other financial benefit except through permissible monetization described below. You may not limit to paid access, sell, or license your content that includes our game content to others for payment of any kind. In particular, we do not allow you to create new content using our game if a paid subscription is required for people to access our specific content.
• Permissible Monetization: You may monetize through partner programs and/or advertising from YouTube, Twitch, Facebook or other video sharing services. Collecting voluntary contribution, such as through SuperChat on YouTube and Bits on Twitch, is permitted as long as your video is also available for free to the public on YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, Twitter or other video sharing services.
From Capcom's perspective, this makes better sense than requiring a license and no monetization like before. They'll gain the exposure and the blood-money while ensuring that that exposure isn't limited to a membership or paywall. . . So I think they are starting to see the benefits of those Let's Plays, but are still unsure enough of how effective it is, so they still want a cut. Better than nothing I guess.I believe that a lot of Japanese companies essentially don’t agree with the idea that Let’s Plays are transformative.
Edit: To expand on this, (as an example) I credit Valve with allowing modern PC games to experience sales in the capacity they currently do. Back in the day, they discounted the Orange Box by 75% on Steam when it was still a relatively new thing. And while they made much less money on the sale by bringing in only 25% of the normal price, the sheer fucking volume of sales they got was astounding. Something like a tenfold or more increase in sales. They basically paved the way for deep sales on Digital video games. They had a whole paper about it, but damned if I can find it.
And even then, despite OVERWHELMING evidence this shit works, you still see companies like Nintendo be so averse to doing discounts they literally have a term now (The Nintendo Tax) to describe it.
From the form here: https://www.capcom.co.jp/game/public/fan/form/index/57, Crapcom is not giving blanket permission, companies have to request permission for what game/s they/talents are allowed to stream.
Not really. Most Japanese companies are outright fucking draconian when it comes to policies like this. Only recently did Nintendo start to let up and Sega, despite giving explicit permissions to Cover for everything, still cedes to the subsidiaries for their own IP. Calli's Persona 3 begathon was just a minor case of that, but Hana Macchia had to get special permissions to play Persona 4 and she couldn't archive the end of the game for her playthrough as well as had to keep monetization completely disabled. Back when P5 and P5R came out, people still generated a fuckton of pushback against Atlus for their bullshit. Is there any logic behind this?
I was expecting this later but fuck it, if you want a little taste of how latin american streamers are i present you Exhibit A: one streamer running behind a food cartI remember a discussion here about Spanish-speaking vtubers.

This gon' be gud. Pekora and Miko has sold me on the Yakuza series, though unfortunately I have seen the ending for 0. Doesn't change the fact the ending's really good, as bittersweet as it is.
Riri has a birthday stream planned
Suzuhara is playing Yakuza 0 now too
I can relate to this lol, when I was still living back in SEA. Once you miss those food cart, they're gone for the day.I was expecting this later but fuck it, if you want a little taste of how latin american streamers are i present you Exhibit A: one streamer running behind a food cart
Lo and behold, a clip surfaces of Haachama explaining why she changed her intro catchphrase from "Konrouge" to "Haachama-chama!"I'd say she's an entertainment genius.
She 180'd the whole "hey can you send feet pics" meme on her audience and made an entire stream of "no, fuck you, YOU send ME feet pics, and I'll review them!"
She tried doing a few cooking streams where she revealed just how actually bad of a cook she is, but could only carry that meme so far with generic "I'm bad at cooking but it's ok" videos, so she started leaning into how bad she could make food, and eventually started turning cooking streams into crazy ingredient streams what with the Tarantula, protein insects, and now a scorpion. Now they're a staple of her content.
All of that, and she can still put on a good show if she wants to turn down the crazy a notch, and she even developed a secondary character for it, people know Haachama as the crazy one, but Akai Haato when she just wants to be cute and cuddly like when collabing with EN talent like Ame or Ina. Granted, Haachama was the invention, but she realized enough that Haachama is the one that brings people in, so now the channel itself is "Haachama".
I never even watch her, but there's no denying Haachama has cracked this game wide open.
I'm hispanic and I look forward to the idea of spanish speaking vtuber (hololive telemundo when?) to help better my Spanish. But man do I hate hi pitch squeaky voices. Oh well beggebrs can't be choosers. I just hope they don't stick to facebook streaming.I remember a discussion here about Spanish-speaking vtubers.
