Containment Random Chris Updates

Foreign wars mean jack all to Chris, inflation might not effect the cost of legos, toys, and vydia. I'm admitably not an expert but from what i gathered inflation will affect Chris' mortgage, which is already bubbling out of control and the cost of most essential items like food and gas. as for health care I'd be amazed if Chris regularly saw a doctor even before the pandemic because any physician worth his hypocritic oath would have told chris to lay off the fatty foods, find an excerise program, or dop something to improve his health and avoid ending up on the triple bypass list.

really chris will only throw a tanturm and demand old joe or if we're extra unlucky "queen harris." to give him a bigger tugboat and put him in a "soup hotel" if barb dies in the next four or so years and if the housing market pulls a 2006 and pops again to where even shithole properties like Chris' will be foreclosed like crazy, or if it become too much to stuff piles of junkfood down his throat even though that stuff usually stays cheap even in hard times. Chris only gets political when the politics effect him and his li ttle world directly, starving war orphans in yemen? Screw them momma's got tsssf cards to buy!
If you remember Chris doing just that during 8 years of Obama.
He often cried "thanks Obama". Like any other libtard with gender studies degree or "Oh college is a great way to socialize for four years" types. Chris is fiscally illiterate and will feel it under Biden administration. I fully expect Chris e-begging and trying to sell his junk just to get by end of four years and every other Democrat president after Biden.

I vividly remember how Chris cried foul pre-merge delusions or roleplay how BROWN MAN BAD because foreign interventions and social programs that were too costly and didn't benefit Chris directly.

Fiscal crisis saga is coming, I'm calling it.

eh chris was more trying to get obama to give him free stuff because like most suckers who voted for him if it wasn't for the "black president" novelty, it's because they legit thought he'd be some miracle worker who'd wave a magic wand and make everything all better. really the first fianchu crisis didn't start till around 2016, the last year obama was in office. I dont recall chris begging much before that except for a few times once crowdfunding sites like patreon took off and even before than any e begging to his paypal was more rooted in his ego as an artist than actual finanical despair.

I'll give both a look.
Chris would be a great take on the isekai genre. Give a spoiled brat his greatest fantasy and watch him piss it away little by little. Almost like the total opposite of Overlord.

Now, that you mentioned it, Chris fits isekai perfectly. Because in most Isekais, the main character is usually some loser or ordinary person on earth who got sucked into another world usually by Magic or Gods or whatever. Then they go on adventures, get powers and get babes or dudes fawning over them. They end up living happily ever after.

Take Inuyasha for example, The main character is some average high school girl who struggled in school and was the reincarnation of some priestess and has a great destiny.

Or Accel World. The main character is a fat short gamer who gets bullied and ends up in a video game world. He becomes super powerful and ends up saving the day(Chris’s Fantasy).

Don’t you agree.

Just wait until Chris gets pissy when obongo 3.0 and sees more foreign wars, shit welfare, inflation and shit health care.

Chris is doesn't give a shit about health of the country, he only cares about himself and his delusions. Too bad he can't buy those Legos with clown world dollars.
Honestly Chris only cares about politics if it only affects him, makes him look cool to others, or based on how relatable a politician is. Otherwise, Chris doesn't give a fuck because as you said he is selfish and delusional.

Honestly Chris can work for an isekai as a tragic character for a short deconstruction story or as a foil to a protagonist given Chris represents many of the worst aspects of nerd culture. I would say he'd be good for an uplifting story but Chris is too dumb to redeem himself and needs massive tard wranglers but even then Chris lacks true independence

That is true, most isekai protagonists have redeemable qualities. Chris has none because as you said, he represents some of the worst aspects of nerd culture.

Personally Chris has redeemable traits but the issue with Chris he is too lazy and only ever takes any initiative whenever something affects him personally that is obvious or pisses him off enough like the BLARMs incident.

But yeah Chris represents the worst aspects of nerd culture by being a Unhealthy, lazy, delusional, entitled, jobless loser whose identity revolves around pop culture along with acting like a child who still lives with their parents.

The hilarious thing is, in isekais the hero is either gifted OP power or they have to work hard for what can become OP plz nerf powers. Let's say chris is granted OP RPG power. He won't want to go adventuring more than 10 minutes from the starting village. If anything he'll expect the final boss to come to him and in the meantime become a total nuisance. Chris is insufferable when he pretends to have power, give him actual power and he'd become a petty little tyrant.

But if chris had to EARN that power through experimentation or simple level grinding? He's screwed. Even in pokemon games or YGO he just tries to brute force his way through obstacles, or he finds one way and sticks with it, never adapting. And we all know chris doesn't do things that require effort.

Either way, the moment he'd face any actual opposition or danger he'd run away. Any courage that isekai power would grant him would exist only so long as he was completely in control of the situation.

Chris albeit in a messed up or undeveloped way seemed to have cared for his family and really loved his dog (Patti).

But honestly it's hard to think of redeemable traits for Chris given how fucked up he's gotten and how absolutely batshit he is. I think I honestly said that due to how harmless Chris really is given his immense stupidity and incompetence.

Thank you Chris, very cool.

Inflation does seem to hit Lego (and other consumer goods). The only "Lego" that isnt priced retardedly is the 3rd party stuff. Shit is getting both more expensive (to a ridiculous degree by now), and sets are getting smaller/contain fewer parts. Altogether i would argue this does qualify as inflation, if you want to use Legobrick-USD as a metric for inflation. If Chris wants to stick with buying Lego then he will need to cough up a pretty penny these days

For a direct comparison we can take the classic "Lego-City Police Station" sets.

Police Station 7744 - 953 parts for 90USD = 0,094USD per part. In 2008
7744.jpg

Police Station 60246 - 743 parts for 100USD = 0,134USD per part. in 2020 (42,5% more expensive per part and also an overall worse set)
60246.jpeg

And some more random examples of the new stuff.

Take this cute little set:
60306 - 80USD
60306 80USD.jpeg

Or this one.
60292 - 100USD
60292 100USD.jpeg

And last but not least, this collection of random shit. (Yes, this is a real set)
60271 - 200USD!

Chris should ditch the Legos and get Minecraft; those prices are a fucking ripoff (Minecraft mods are free and plentiful). Plus Chris could re-recreate Manchester High School and not have the roof look like crap.

Then we'd have him trying to potato-cam record his walk through of his minecraft highschool.

I remember a while ago he took a picture of his laptop's screen and it had Minecraft pinned on the taskbar. I'd be really interested to see what his saves looked like, but I get the impression he probably only opened it once or twice.

I'd love to see that, regardless of how shit he is at making stuff.

A shame. Chris and Minecraft would go together well.
