I am still baffled by the bizarre idea that violent commies can coexist in the gun community with people who they despise for their views, culture and even fucking skin color. Violent commies who frequently make jokes about being violent against people they disagree with. I know I’ve seen at least one political TGF meme specifically where they were on their way somewhere with a gun in their car to go take care of something.
Yes, the major issue that I have with these hard-left 2A groups is that for all of their claptrap about the right of the working class to defend themselves etc.. I don’t believe for a second that if their glorious Revolution were to succeed, and they were calling the shots, that they would allow their political “opponents” (anyone even slightly center-right) to be armed. They would quickly set themselves up as the arbiters of who were allowed to have weapons and who were not.
It’s just like how they say “Abolish the State” and “Defund the police” when they want to do neither. They just want to BE the State and BE the police.
As someone with anarchist “sympathies” (I’m not an anarchist, but sympathize with aspects of anarchism) these modern pseudo-anarchists who LARP as anti-State, but then simp for the State as soon as their side is in charge really disgust me.
It exists somewhere out there and needs finding.

I actually have a fair bit of respect for trans-women who DO pass, because that takes a lot of hard work, and sometimes surgical procedures, to pull off. It’s an example of really going the distance to be what you want to be. Personally I’m someone who is tremendously vain, with an obsessive-compulsive devotion to maintaining my own appearance in order to conform to my vision of how I feel that I “should” look... so my hat tip to trannies who pass is an instance of game recognizing game I guess.
Some trans people don’t put the effort in, or...just don’t have the facial morphology to make it work, and instead look, at best, ludicrous. Part of being a grown-up is having enough body awareness to know what “look” you can pull off and what you can’t. And for a lot of transgenders, maybe being a handsome man is a better strategy than being an ugly woman. But I guess I say that as someone who is looking at the issue from a purely vanity-driven perspective vs one of trying to manifest a specific gender-identity.
as someone who is an ACTUAL anti-statist, I’d never be in favor of legislation prohibiting transgender people from identifying or presenting themselves how they want. But....if you go out in the public sphere and look, sound or act ridiculous.....you gotta be ready for the ridicule.
To be perfectly honest though, my snarking about TGF is largely politically motivated. If TGF were some kind of Right-libertarian I’d be nicer, and would use their preferred pronouns out of simple respect. But I don’t believe in being polite to commies.
