On this, has there been any speculation on vsinger hopefuls? The entire audition thing was so quietly announced that I find it really hard to believe nobody spoke out about trying to audition for the role.

That actually makes sense. they are probably being quite specific in what they are looking for then instead of just an unknown amazing singing gem.
 
If it wasn't known before, Ame may have accidentally revealed her time zone (Pacific) through in-game text referencing the system clock.

I agree, though like you also said, I think you can sort of break them down into, like: tone deaf but with heart, hard workers, talented, and actively pursuing.

I mean, I enjoy Korone, but she’s not technically great, she‘s just fun and has a lot of enthusiasm, which makes it really enjoyable to listen to. Whereas Aqua and Ayame were both ok, but are now definitely much better than they used to be.

The backflip from the most recent clip is most definetely animated. If you look at it more carefully, you'll see she barely got any impulse from the initial run and her moves are very unnatural. Other than that, I really doubt she would be able to do all these flips and runs while covered up in tracking gear and plugged into a PC. Doesn't change much at all, since these types of tricks would be hard to do on a virtual environment anyway, but it is something you end up noticing.

This is what I was saying. Anyone actually getting mad at Polka needs to take a step back and realize she's got no fucking clue about anything other that surface-level stuff. Shit, she even says in the clip she thinks they're cute and loves their designs, and then says collabing w/ them would be impossible for multiple reasons even if they wanted to. Give her a break.

The list of "top singers" in Hololive is completely nebulous once you get past AZKi and Suisei being #1 and #2 respectively, that's straight-up objective fact. Everything else is all personal preference or if you're a hyper-autist about music and can actually break down their technique and vocal skill levels.

My personal Top 5, with the first two being absolutely nondebatable in any capacity-

This’ll be interesting. Woohoo lad did seem like weirdo with that YouTube comment. It’s like the whole coco/kson face reveal drama. No one would’ve said anything if no one opened their mouths like a tard. You can tell Lad is obviously baiting for a response unless he’s that autistic about Hei making a video on a nonissue. I know Hei has made videos on nonissues before (like said coco face reveal), but the Pekora thing had so little substance to it that even Hei couldn’t get anyone to tell him or find out about it himself. So there wasn’t gonna be a video about it until Lad wryyyd about it preemptively. I remember when Lad made his Hei video last week and then right after went on stream and said he hopes Hei responds cause he had a “galaxy brain move.” Well, he didn’t so this seems like an attempt to start shit for no reason.

Edit: You can also tell that Lad is still super butthurt over being called out on those Calli and Gura videos if he’s going to these lengths to start petty drama over a 3 second mention in a Hei video when taking about the crab drama.
