I never really delved into his Facebook accounts until today. The fact that this guy leaves "clues" just expecting us to believe them is pretty remarkable. First, he comes here to tell everyone he'll be out and about taking pictures, only to turn around and argue with himself on Facebook with multiple fake accounts of the people he believes are persecuting him.

@Saul Goodman, if the prosecution wanted to prove defamation and libel, could they subpoena Facebook and Shaner's ISP to divulge if he logged in under these accounts? Because if so, I believe Shaner will have to double up on the Depends that fateful day.

Defamation and libel are civil claims. So there is no "prosecution." Also, Lennay is what we call "judgment proof." In other words, even if a plaintiff successfully sued him, he has no money for them to collect. Accordingly, while he has certainly defamed people, it really isn't worth it to sue him.

That said, there are some circumstances under which someone who was defamed by Shaner's posts could subpoena his records. But functionally what that would mean is that someone would have to pay tens of thousands of dollars in legal costs and wait a good year or two to get definitive proof of what we all already know: These accounts are all Shaner.

Like OPL, he has a Distinctive Typing Style (TM). And as @Zim has pointed out, the first rule of Shaner is that "nobody defends Shaner but Shaner."
