She is clearly banking on Kingfisher to have permanently vanished, so she feels like she can say whatever she wants no matter how dumb or quickly she contradicts herself. Anybody with a brain sees through it but people who follow her aren't exactly known for using theirs.

Would be fantastic if he's just letting her hang herself with her own words and comes back after a day or two with contradictory screenshots.
