US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Biden enslavement syndrome doesn't exist they said...

Don't mind the actual idolatry, just remember guys, Biden's the most pious of Catholics.

Tbf, at least they're pandering to their base by photoshopping Biden's head onto Joan of Arc's body in the second one. It's like being double trans.

Someone's taking the piss, it's not official merchandise. Celebrity prayer candles are pretty common.

Wow. Even North Korea and the ghost of Chairman Mao is going “what the fuck, guys”?
The surest way to divinity is a violent, public death. Whether stabbed in the back by senators like Divus Iulius, or crucified like Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum, or inconveniently overdosing in the middle of an arrest like George Floyd, there is only one way to turn a man into a myth. I feel Joe is in terrible danger.
Honestly, I think Biden will be fine since I get the feeling the right has moral restraints to keep them from acting on their seething hatred. Also, they may have some form of empathy. Trump and Republicans meanwhile...those are the ones I’m worried about.
Welcome to one party rule. They don’t have to care about the consequences. With an ineffective “opposition” party that cares even less about the people they claim to represent than the ruling party, cramming the country full of refugees and making ballot printers go brrrrr, they can toss major industries aside if they feel like it.

They can finally make good on their ideological goals they’ve been hyping up for decades. I’m not sure displacing major industries and letting most of the workers go without economic opportunities is going to turn out well but the oil and gas industry is mostly wypipo so you’re not going to get any Democrat or Republican to fight for them.

There’s going to be a lot of “let them eat cake” moments from now on. Will they ever be held accountable? I think we all know the real answer to that question.
The progressive utopia will be green. And there’s nothing we can do about it.
They're going to start eating lead if they aren't careful. This is basic "how not to create an armed insurgency" and they're failing every lesson.

And if they are trying to make this sort of unrest happen, it isn't going to go the way they imagine.

Oh please. Your "armed insurgency" is as toothless as the Navalny supporters, and the Capitol shitshow successfully proved that. It will never go beyond LARPing.

Yeah, this is not going to be solved with an "insurgency", armed or not. There will be a lot of disorganized rioting, though. That should be fun to watch from a distance.

The Capitol protests were just a tap on the shoulder. These people don't want armed insurgency and are giving leadership plenty of off ramps to avoid it.

Leadership and people like you misread the lack of desire for violence as a lack of willingness. Bad mistake to make.
Everyone talks about insurgency and war until they’re in one. Honestly, I think the left will start something in Minecraft first because they have the hatred, the lack of empathy, and the feeling of justification needed to carry out their darkest plans for MAGA.
It depends.

Of course, the sociocultural "left" and "right" exist, but in a more general sense, you have the "Haves" and the"Have-nots". Now, we have enough distractions to keep us divided along the ideological lines of "left" and "right" and our circumstances aren't universally terrible. If anything becomes substantially worse, you can expect at the least a temporary alliance within the Have-nots between "left" and "right" as they desperately try to change the power balance. If the guard dogs of the Haves are called into action at that point, it becomes harder to do counter-terrorist ops because you effectively have a peasant uprising.

Here's the thing: the Have-nots, in large part, aren't getting power taken away-- they're giving away the power they have (by voting while not being involved in the civics and politics themselves) and then acting surprised that people who get that power so cheaply aren't interested in using it in a way that doesn't enrich their pockets and their (the political) class at the cost of their (the people's) welfare. Part of the reason why any kind of rioting against the political class isn't going to work even a little (apart from the reality that rioting hurts the rioters and those they're associated with in the long term) is because the Have-nots operate, at various levels, with the false belief that they've exhausted all their other options. Because they haven't at all, and they're variously aware of this, a riot doesn't have the energy to exceed the fervor of a tantrum.

The short of what I'm getting at is that shit doesn't hit the fan until the people are entirely sure they've otherwise irrevocably lost all power. And it's going to take a lot to get to that point-- left/right divide aside, the bread and circuses we have now, much more accessible to the hoi polloi than any other time in history, not only demoralize but distract in rather effective ways.
One problem though: the left will never....NEVER work with the right because they feel the right holds traits undesirable to their perfect world and as a result, cannot be allowed to live in or fight for it.
This is ridiculous. Like, I know the entirety of DC hates Trump and that this intent to overturn all of Trump’s EO’s is purely out of spite... but they could at least keep the ones that don’t make them look like monsters for cancelling.
You underestimate how deep the hatred goes. And how much they feel needs to be done to destroy the cancer and heal the body and the soul. And what Minecraft players are capable of, ESPECIALLY when they know they’re getting cheered for it and when they feel they have a moral obligation to be the best Minecraft player in the history of the universe .
That's what I ment by cool. I know he probably has skeletons in his closet that goes for every businessmen. But Musk as you said is against wokness and government regulations. Also he didn't hate Trump unlike other rich assholes.
So I really hope he survives Biden and Harris
Well, he’s the new richest man in the world.
They're getting cocky. They must think their election tactics are foolproof since they succeeded getting Biden in power.
This is what the left always does: spikes the ball when they win, get super smug, rub things in, and goes all in on what they wanna do the only way they know how: pushing it through via sheer brute force. They know they’re on the fast track to the progressive utopia they’ve wanted for so fucking long, and taking out their personal Voldemort and Hitler and Osama bin Laden rolled into one makes it that much sweeter for them.
Biden's press secretary sounds like a bad lair. Seriously they went after Trump's press secretarys calling them obvious lairs. Yet Biden's comes off not just as a huge lair, but just dumb in general. Eric Cartman was right, gingers are the worst.
They want to put in place a top down approach to vaccinations, where they will build or occupy vaccination locations head up by FEMA. This is being done to cover up how the blue states have been utterly failing in dispensing and wasting the vaccine, and remove how good red states like Florida and South Dakota have focused on vaccinating the most at risk people (seniors) first via private companies like grocery stores.

He contradicted this later by admitting that there's nothing we can do about the trajectory of the virus, and that it's here. Despite campaigning that he had a plan.

He did make it a rule that you cannot call Corona-Chan the China Virus anymore.

The Biden administration basically said they have no idea what the fuck to do and to *mandate* a 100 day mask requirement (which is illegal and not possible, despite the fact that the overwhelming majority of people wear masks inside businesses)
It's a fucking disgrace and retarded fencies will defend it because DRUMPF ORANGE HITLER BAD
They don't even care that he's started two wars, destroyed over 100k jobs AND American energy independence, AND women rights.
There’s also the British model of extending lockdowns indefinitely if you’re into conspiracies. Or if you’re a super nut, lockdowns and masked used until the United Nations institutes a one world government modeled after China and various collectives like the WHO. That or the society that was depicted in Demolition Man.
When anyone from this administration kicks the bucket, I feel we’re going to get crying in the streets, not just for Dear Leader. That’s one way to top North Korea.
I do agree there is something odd on how fast he's doing things with excative orders. the guy is acting like he doesn't have four years to do certain things.

It's genuine. Right idolatry of Trump was tongue-in-cheek. People called him the God Emperor for the lulz, not that he actually was an emperor. Leftists are giant dickriders.

Really, I’m pretty sure that the right has just as many dickriders when it came to Trump, that or there were people pissed that Trump didn’t match the picture painted on /pol/.
Well, that talk of Russian bounties paid to the Taliban had to be addressed somehow.
@BidenLs is going to be pretty busy this year.
Assuming it isn’t suspended.
You mean the neuroelectric car market, powered entirely by electrical impulses sent to human feet?
So...the Flintstones model of vehicles?
The 70's?

It wasn't so long ago that regular was $4 per gallon everywhere, hell I had to run 93 octane in my spergmobile (it was tuned right to the detonation limit) and I was paying $3 and some change for that just a few years ago. Europe saw $8-10 per gallon the last time shit got bad.

Electric car is gonna take forever and that's assuming we don't suffer complex systemic failures along the way, you'll be paying $100 to fill your midsize sedan's tank before electric becomes ubiquitous. Just wait until some kind of oil crisis AND runaway inflation happens at the same time.
So who’s your pick to be on the trillion dollar bill?

Are you saying a country’s media should agree with its leader? Buddy, where have you been the past five years?
Ok good point. I just remember now, that If I remmber correctly the media in Brazil hates their President just as much as the media here hating Trump.

You got that right. A good portion of the population down here gobbles it all down and starts hating on the man, based only on half-facts, rather than actual observations of his actions. It is palpable how much pundits and journos seethe over him, and almost every week there is some hidden request to get him out, as if it would solve our problems overnight.

Once the pandemic calms down, impeachment due processes will be taken on Congress to try to oust him. It is not even a question of "if", it is of "when" and "why", because there's shitloads of accusations looming over his head. Whether he will be impeached or not, it remains a mystery because he has very little allies left.

In the end, Bolsonaro just wasn't ready to deal with the upper echelons of politics. His election, much like Trump's, was more as a "fuck you" to the old establishment than an indictment on an actually good administrator. I don't count on him being reelected in 2022, as I see the situation similar to Trump: Lots of vocal support, but with as many detractors who literally shudder when pronouncing his name, and with popularity polls never going above 40% of approval.

This is why US politics end up interesting me: There's lots of similarities with our own political shitshow.

But didn't he win in a landslide last time? I really feel bad for you guys down there . You may lose your populist leader too.

So my old Joe Biden supporting father actually said something sensible regarding how Biden raising the minimum wage would be a bad idea regarding the economy being subsidized due to the lockdowns, courtesy of the global pandemic.

Yet, for some reason, he still gets pissed off that QAnon exists.

I guess you could say we’re making progress? :cringe:

No way, it was closely contested. He always led the polls, but never at an enough advantage to be elected on the first round.
Very suspectly, the Workers' Party candidate rose from fourth to second place, and went to the second round against him. That's another story that may or may not smell of election fraud. I heard Dominion has a hand in the electronic ballots we use to count votes, but that I can't confirm.

You know it really is amazing how an 19th century Democrat could almost beat to death a Republican Senator in the capitol, and yet only suffer being fined for that act. The sob was actually re-elected after that, but Trump has to be convicted while out of office for "invoking insurrection" because Orange-man bad.

Biden doesn't give a fuck about the American people.
Are you just now figuring it out. If anything, the Democrats are going to be in for a rude awakening when the rest of the world isn’t willing to be buddy buddy with them and their progressive utopia.

FFS...Biden isn't boring, he's goddamn cringeworthy. 4 years of this crap people unless he resigns or "accidentally" croaks.

I assume Copmala will be the same with the cringe. And she won't have the excuse of her brain melting.
How does America manage to do the North Korean cult of personality both better and worse than North Korea itself at the same fucking time?

Oh I been knowing that. That's why I sacrificed my niggerty to vote for orange man. But it's fun seeing communist, femintards and blm get self owned and sent to war.
