It's not specially her voice that makes me support her.
It's the lyrics and the fact that her diss are totally legit and on point.
She also has the baggages and rights to talk about that given her past.

If I’m getting ballsy and schilling out that I’ve studied college 101 classics. . . Cicero once said that great ancestry is a burden upon the individual to be greater still. It’s a concept I’ve always taken to heart and I come from the most stereotypical blue-collar story you can get for the area. But these idiots don’t get the concept of generational grind. They’ll never care about what was granted to them. The HL girls have and have worked it with the utmost humility. If one thing grinds my rusted ass gears it’s these VTweeters ignoring the big picture to excuse lack of talent or hustle.

I’ve got a thing for Contralto, and that Sakura Days cover showed she can hit that in spades.

Edit: Heading to Calli’s stream, but can anyone explain what Coco has been doing to me for the last 30min? I’m just confused. But it is really funny imagining her roommate physically doing whatever this is.

So in sad news today, it appears as though Hanayori Girl's Dorm will be disbanding by February 15th.

A footnotes of this announcement that I scraped together from a DeepL translation of the message and some of the comments on the Twitter announcement goes like this:
  • The team only ever consisted of a manager and all the group members (just three at this point)
  • As they grew more popular and activities expanded beyond what they initially planned for, they took on a lot more work, making it difficult to continue on
  • The group came to an agreement that continuing to overwork themselves that they could become physically and psychologically damaged, which would lead to a subpar environment for content creation
  • The group's February 5th disbanding will leave all of its members as independents who will retain their branding and models (this one I'm not sure of)
The group already suffered the loss of one of it's members, Nonomiya Nonono, last year on September 6th due to ongoing health issues. Keni was kind enough to sub Nonono's very sudden graduation stream, which is lost now due to her channel being wiped. Here's that stream if any of you would like to watch. It's always depressing to see someone retire due to health reasons, as there's always this feeling that the person retiring wanted to do so much more.

This is honestly kind of saddening, but I guess if what's being said in the announcement was true, then it's probably for the best. I hope all of them can keep being successful.

Damn, I’ve been a Kano fan for a long time. I hope that even if they disband they still at least still manage to be successful. And that they keep their archives up, because her covers are really good.

...this breakup, plus Sephira Su’s graduation... maybe Holo6 is coming soon, after all.
