I feel awful saying this but...she almost looks like she's part of a pair of craniopagus twins. Conjoined twins joined at the head/skull, particularly in that first picture.

It'd be one thing if that was just how she was born, but she didn't have to be.

Luna’s an interesting one. Her mom is quite judicious about only posting stories that make Luna look as if she’s engaging with her environment. However, if you watch enough I’d them, several things are apparent:
1) the arm/hand posturing, obviously
2) her eyes don’t track any stimulus at all — it’s just random motion
3) she also doesn’t track sound
4) she doesn’t engage with physical stimuli including touch or food on her lips
5) the only sound I’ve ever heard from her is a sigh

Any evidence of Luna’s “progress” in PT/OT/reiki/woo interventions is just selective camera work and wishful thinking. I feel bad for the kid.

I had a debate with a fellow Catholic about this, and he kept insisting that you're supposed to carry it to term and then make it as comfortable as possible while it passes away. He had no response when I asked what happens if the baby doesn't pass away in a day or two. Apparently, letting your baby starve to death is the Based Catholic Way, and abortion is No No, Don't Be a Murderer. How is it a Catholic ideal to let a kid starve in absolute utter agony instead of aborting it?

Thankfully abortion is not illegal and starving a literal child is.

I am very concerned about medical neglect for the new baby. She waited months to take Luna into a physician even when there was something very obviously wrong with her. God forbid the son end up with something like type 1 diabetes, PKU, or even something as mundane as a high fever - he would die or suffer serious permenant disability before she would recognize the need for evidence-based quality medical care.

Powerlevel, but I'm a staunch pro-life gal myself. That said, in cases like these, I don't see a single reason how abortion isn't the more ethical choice. You either kill it before it can feel any pain, or you subject it to a lifetime of endless pain they have no way to comprehend. Pretty sure it's not playing God if God made our bodies have a method to murder the kid in utero if it's FUBAR. Just fixing a glitch God overlooked in our programming.

I'm not a biblical scholar, but the bible also asserts that not all killing is murder and there are worse things than death. A huge decision like abortion, from a Christian p.erspective, is something that really deserves a lot of thought and prayer. That said, no one is born to suffer. Christ died for our sins. If it is a sin, and you have a repentent heart for the suffering you inflict, that's all He asks of you, because you or I cannot be perfect and absolve from sin in a terrible situation like with these tortured children. You have to love the family through it and also help them make the best decision to limit suffering.

I've said before but as awful as it sound I almost hope he decides to nope out at the fetus stage because nothing good is going to happen to that kid even if he doesn't get brain damage from a woo home birth.

the fontanel looks like it is getting larger in proportion to the rest of the head now. I honestly don't know how this is going to shake out if luna doesn't die quietly and soon. That would be bad enough but imagine if they got in a fender bender or some other minor accident around the house, so many things would end her in an especially disgusting fashion.

It's surprising how long babies with hydrocephalus can live, if you can call what they're doing living. I'm not sure what it is about these cow parents that compel them to post all kinds of glittery social media photos with lies about their potato children are smashing development milestones when they are clearly seizing and stuck in abnormal posturing poses.

Roona is about 2 in these pictures, the girl from the Netflix documentary "Rooting for Roona" that gets mentioned in here occasionally. She, like Luna, had severe untreated hydrocephalus. This will be Luna's future if she lives this long.



Surgeons were able to significantly reduce the size of Roona's head through a series of operations. She seems like there was more going on upstairs for her than for Luna, who is a potato.



Spoilers: She died at age 6 in 2017, a month before her final surgery was scheduled. If nothing else, her case added to the medical literature of what to do in these situations..

Difference is Luna does not have hydrocephalus as primary diagnosis. Her is a disorder where the brain just becomes giant cysts that cause it and destroy the brain. Thing though is considering it wont effect her brain steam she techincally can live with no quality of life.

I think she might not be a total potato, or at least at one point she wasn't a total potato. There was that one video of her backing away from her mom shoving pickles in her face.

Honestly her not being a complete potato is probably the more horrifying possibility.

The only chance her brother has if he doesn't yeet himself as a fetus is if the parents divorce and the dad get custody. Unfortunately I doubt that will happen since it seems like the dad is barely there and perfectly happy to tolerate the fucked up woo bullshit his wife does.
