I don't know for sure but I think his mother's maiden name is Salvagno.

So I start watching Phil's 'The Godfather' playthrough last week and notice Phil keeps shouting out that his character's name is 'Phillipo Silvano from Foggia, Italy!' Sometimes it's just interesting how far back his autistic lore goes. This was back in July 2015. Someone told him his brachydactyly type D clubbed thumbs somehow makes him authentic Italian to the point he keeps shouting out this 'Phillipo Silvano' shit all throughout his playthrough anytime Leanna is talking to drown her out.

In April 2014 Phil is bragging to John Rambo about how when he moves he will make his autism sauce and Phil says, "It'll be. . .it won't be Burnell Sauce because that's my dad's name, it'll be SILVANO Sauce!" and he keeps calling it Silvano Sauce. Is that his mother's maiden name or something? Edit: Or Salvagno apparently?

Edit2: Also, don't Google search 'Salvagno thumb' all that comes up are porn results for American female body-builder Angela Salvagno. . .unless you're into that or whatever ;)

I believe his mother's maiden name is Salvagno yes though don't ask me who unearthed this detail I feel like I heard about it years ago.

I watched a youtube vid that seems relevant, the meat of it circles around the concept that scammers like the nigerian prince folk are so ridiculous because they only want the most retarded bastards out there to deal with them because anyone not buttfucking stupid has a greater chance of not giving them the money. Not that our dear Philip Burnell understands that it's precisely that which he is doing with his tard wrangling begging sessions, but it is all precisely that, the only people left in his goutsphere are people too fucking stupid to not give him the money he needs and he doesn't want to deal with anyone even slightly competent.

I just finished reading John Douglas' "Mindhunter" and then read an interview where he talked about some of the worst serial killer cases he worked. While reading about one of the ones he specifically named dropped, Gary Heidink, something stood out about his school experience in the wikipedia article:

Phil stated during one of his weird 'Sylvanio Thumb' explanations that Sylvanio was the name/surname of his grandfather, and I think Phil has previously indicated his authentic Italian ancestors were from Foggia. It's why it is not an official condition - it's the name the family gave the condition because the OG pigroach brought the Sylvanio Thumb over from the motherland, and handed it down as his genetic legacy. And possibly gout, we can't confirm.

It sure sounds like he knows one little piece of his family's history and is working in the same 3 details in at every possible opportunity to assert his Italian-ness.

But we all know it's not his fault. It's the stupid banks and companies that use maiden name as security questions for using something so easily found.

It's not the farms, it's Phil himself.

I've also posted an alternative theory on this whole thing, involving a polish magician that uses a fake thumb to perform tricks.
It could have been used by his parents as a joke, and he either took it seriously or continued to play along with the joke on his streams, like an inside thing to himself while his chat tries to take him seriously.
