Well, the SEQUEL to it was in Alpha stage since July 21 of 2020 and they are aiming for release in 2021. I repeat, two games of the same franchise began their developments and will be released, while YS has been stuck in development hell. Alex should've followed that deal till the end.

All right, I’ve been lurking this thread for a while, and it’s how I’ve been keeping with Alex’s antics. Now that I finally made an account, I can talk about something that’s been on my mind for over a month.

In this video, Dec 20th, 2020, three months after the initial launch of the demo, he brags about adding a “demo checklist” to encourage you to do all the eliminations

The only problem with this is that he proposed and implemented this idea (albeit non functional) four fucking years ago, he shows it off in his Let’s Examine Hitman video from 2016

I think the best part about all of this is that the grand prize is complete shit. Normally I would say that the ability to put in your own character would be a cool idea if Alex didn't find a way to completely fuck it up like usual, (Since I'm actually a sucker for those types of things), but lo and behold, he fucked it up like usual.

- You can't actually see the character unless you put in a cheat code. That means the majority of the playerbase won't ever see the character in school, especially since the cheat code menu is locked behind a requirement of eliminating Osana at least once (And most people won't bother to play the game any further than that). His reasoning of "Players who don't want to see it don't have to" is also pretty insulting. If done properly, a good majority of people wouldn't know they aren't a character Alex himself made and the ones who would know wouldn't care.
- The character doesn't actually have their own set routine or any unique interactions. Rather, they are just a model replacement for an existing character. I shouldn't have to explain how this would make it feel like this character wouldn't actually be a part of the game's world (Because they wouldn't be), which is not only a complete immersion breaker, but it sort of defeats the entire purpose of doing something like this.

Also, the free merch prize is a bit misleading. In his video, Alex says that for all places, “you’ll get some merchandise”, but the rules on the website say that you’re only allowed ONE free piece of merch at third place, with two at 2nd place, and three at 3rd place.
