The fact this thread even had a spurt of growth from a couple posts a day to tens of pages a day was far beyond my and anyone else's expectations. Let alone that we'd have drama unfold over the course of multiple days. The fact we had people from the scene coming here to fucking #metoo blew my mind. I think I'll have to retract my statement of the best part of this thread as not something we'd see for years though.

This shit put a fucking smile on my face in an instant. To last a thousand years! The idea of TNO dying was mostly hype from how symbolically significant the results of the drama were. While it would have been a cherry on top what will probably the best of this thread for quite awhile. TNO dying would have instantly destroyed this thread's future more than anything else they could have done.

As part of one of the active promoters here, I wish to apologize to the TNO team for any inconvenience my actions and the actions of the leakers may have caused. They have also accepted the terms and called for a complete halt as well. There's not going to be another leak from the chats, and we also wish good luck to the TNO team members and the community as a whole. TNO moderators might or might receive anonymous info about in which sites the doxxing is happening if we can catch them first. I promise that we will be focusing on finding any information that might harm any member of the TNO team.

To the good luck of them, this thread had a chance of dying soon. I don't see any more reason to try of keeping this drama going.

I'm as newfag as they come, I only just learned what highlights are and I'm still trying to grasp kiwi terminology, but even I can tell from comparing this thread's length and activity to similar threads on this board and others that HoI4 will have a long and prosperous future here on kiwifarms. Trust me, TNO is only the tip of the shitberg that is the HoI4 modding community. There is so much material there that it could be worthy of a board all on its own.

My own personal bitterness and bias against TNO had me initially looking to see the mod destroyed and their team scattered to the wind, but I've realized that it's much more enjoyable to have them fester and make fools of themselves. TNO is not going away for a long time. They're barely a quarter finished with TNO1, TNO2 is still years away, and TNO3, though probably just a pipe dream, is still a possibility.

Anyways, y'all are cool, I like it here. I think I'll stay for a while.

There was a time in which they banned and person and then unbanned it because they wrote in Russian, ironically sending a positive message to TNO.

Other reddux is probably happy that TNO decided to take their heads out of their asses for a split second and they might be let back in.

I think the dev team will learn the wrong lessons from this "ceasefire". They'll come to the conclusion that there's nothing wrong, it was just trolls, and they'll still think crunches work, that there's no grooming, or that purging an entire subset of people from your discord just because the language they speak is normal or okay.
They'll also probably not confess to or address any of the charges made against them, they'll just twist into an "evil kiwifarms" narrative to their fans on reddit and the discord, where they're the sensible party that sat down to talk and fixed the drama.

Bach's team is willing to compromise with the main team so that they're allowed back on the reddit and the discord. (They were kicked off a few weeks ago after one of the TNO affiliated moderators on the server "leaked" transphobic comments made by members of the moderating team and also claimed there was doxxing against pacifica. The latter later turned out to be false, but was followed by the unrelated Kiwi-thread doxxing a week or so later. Basically the Redux-drama was a little prelude to the actual doxxing.)
They're more focused on adding smaller, interesting paths to the game for countries currently lacking content.
