That's been happening a lot lately for meWhen you go into a takeaway, order something, get your change and then the woman behind the counter asks you to pay again because she forgot to add something to your order.

That's got to be a tactic or something. I only get angrier the more times they ask me to chill out.Having somebody shout at you, then tell you to calm down. Seriously?

I hate that shit myself. It's not ok for me to show any emotions, but it's ok for other people to have meltdowns. That's got to be a tactic or something. I only get angrier the more times they ask me to chill out.

News orgs not proofreading their chyrons. What can I expect from modern journalism, they can't even read the damn teleprompter correctly half the time. YOU HAVE ONE JOB, KIM

The workers are paid to repeat what their billionaire employers tell them to say, so why should they care? Most of the "news" is just stories that are spun to manipulate people into favoring the rich, hit pieces on people the news companies don't like, and fluff news so they can fill out their entire timeslot.

If you haven't taken a nap in the snow wearing sneakers you're not hardened enough.walking through deep snow...maybe im just getting old and out of shape but my legs cramped up something fierce twice today while walking through deep snow. it was so painful i fell over thankful the snow was deep to break my fall and lay there trying to ignore the excruciating pain. thankfully snow is...well cold and laying a cramping limb on something cold thankfully made the pain recede faster
Homeless used to be better. A long time ago I gave a typical grey bearded old homeless guy [$2] and some cigs and he stood up and said that "merci beaucoup" was the highest compliment you could ever give somebody and he went on and on about it. Not long after that a homeless street punk with a nose ring(couple of years older than me) wanted me to share the wealth, communism style, so I should just give him [$2] because I could obviously afford it. I told him that would be a stretch for me and he took my wallet and asked why I only had [$4], in a cash society, then took half of it anyway because fuck the system. Social justice in action! As a student my food budget was a very tight so that hurt a lot. I hate street punks slumming it.Gonna hop on in the homeless people get what they fucking deserve train.
I’ve tried to be emphatic to homeless before. They have a sign asking for food. Okay, tell them I’ll run into a fast food joint and grab them whatever they want for lunch. I get cursed at and have trash thrown at me. I’ve given money to homeless who seemed like they actually did have a run of bad luck and weren’t just worthless drug addicts. Nope, I either got conned out of my money by a good liar, or I got cursed at for not withdrawing my entire bank account for them. Nothing is ever good enough, they always want more more more. And if you direct them to places that will help them get back in their feet they start screeching like Linda Blair in The Exorcist. They enjoy being parasitic drains in society.
People who pretend to be poor for gibs piss me off, especially when they're benefit scroungers meaning that I have to pay for their laziness. Not long after that a homeless street punk with a nose ring(couple of years older than me) wanted me to share the wealth, communism style, so I should just give him [$2] because I could obviously afford it. Stuff like that makes me afraid to ask for help. You should KNOW BETTER
usually (or sometimes) said by a person that also doesn’t know that much about how the world works, and has to go into some time wasting lecture that doesn’t inspire anyone except for him/herself
Advice is only useful when it's extremely specific and concrete. People are worse than no help at all when they see an opportunity to tell you to be more like them.Stuff like that makes me afraid to ask for help.
Oh yes. When somebody asks me to do something, I want them to show and tell me. Instead of being vague.Advice is only useful when it's extremely specific and concrete. People are worse than no help at all when they see an opportunity to tell you to be more like them.
Thing that pisses me off: "Are you busy tomorrow?" I'm always busy. What_do_you_want.Oh yes. When somebody asks me to do something, I want them to show and tell me. Instead of being vague.
