Western Animation - Discuss American, Canadian, and European cartoons here (or just bitch about wokeshit, I guess)

At first I felt a pang of upset but when I saw that their next release was to be an adaption of one of those horrible spot pilgrim knockoffs by Noelle Stevenson I felt justice surging through my veins and out of my rape limb (penis (male))
And this was after it kept moving schedules. Her career isn’t going so well after She Ra.

There's that Buck spinoff show that's still gonna happen on disney plus to my knowledge
i mean i could settle for one and i mean only ONE..more film to round out ice age into two trilogies. Plus I think the last film collision course was setting up a plotline with deigo and Shira wanting kids, to start a family of their own. If that was the case I would legit like to see where that goes....plus its been years both in the real world and the series, whatever happened to the cave kid in the original? or cave people in general?

The first Ice Age was actually a decent movie, and they honestly should've stopped after that one. Their adaptation of Horton Hears a Who is probably the best out of all the modern Dr. Seuss adaptations (quirky ANIMU LOL ISN'T JAPAN WEIRD jokes notwithstanding), and The Peanuts Movie is honestly the best-case scenario for a "modern" Peanuts revival (seriously, I had low AF expectations for it, and I remember being blown away by how faithful it turned out to be, not only to the spirit, but the animation, in its own weird way). Dunno about Robots, haven't seen it yet (also, that is a damn unimaginative title). But aside from those, they ranged from "meh" (Rio), to "ungodly awful" (the aforementioned Ice Age sequels). Still, RIP, I guess.

Also -
And this was after [Nimona] kept moving schedules. Noelle's career isn’t going so well after She Ra.
Obligatory GOOD. Let's hope her downward spiral into obscurity continues.

New management, old tricks. If at first you don't succeed, push the square peg into the round hole and so on.

Damn... first OK KO, and now Infinity Train, Cartoon Network certainly is a shit company....

I always felt the company was kind of going down the crapper in the last couple of years and the current outlook is looking more grim.

I am now worried for Mao Mao.
I agree. I miss when they were putting out good stuff like Ben 10, Generator Rex, Adventure Time, regular show and Gumball. What fucking happen!!!!!!

I watched the new season of Archer. It's alright, basically back to form after all the experimental seasons that didn't really manage to create their own identity (I think only the Treasure Island one managed to be excellent). The writers really need to replace some characters to shake things up.
