I've been working on a eu4 mod on and off solo for a few years, and if you have some base level knowledge on programming it's not hard to wrap your head around modding paradox games

Don't get into it. It's a dying game, and you will go insane trying to mod it.

Bah, if I could get into HoI 2 Armaggedon modding post 2007, I can get into HoI 4 modding. Worse comes to worst, I waste a weekend or five turning America a different shade of blue to satisfy my autism.

You'll find a bunch of pages on how to make trees/countries/etc, as well as commands/triggers/etc lists. PDXScript is relatively easy.

The strange thing is that most of the MP discord server for Hoi4 are pretty based. they had to delete giants amounts of very spicy memes when Discord started to care.
