As an undercut enthusiast myself, who devotes a huge amount of time and effort to crafting and maintaining every detail of my own cut to almost OCD levels, I hate to see my preferred hairstyle atop a head unworthy of it. I think it would behoove Karl to change his look a bit.
Something more along the lines of a typical bowl cut would look stupid of course, but I do feel like it would suit him more, especially with the round-framed glasses he was wearing in the TGF vid.

I doubt it was political differences; most likely he approached Steve about a collaboration and was refused, because reasons (pick any two), and Karl got butthurt about it.

There was a 2gun match in early 2019 that was run by Karl and people he knows. The match rules explicitly banned any and all rhodesian cosplay. You wouldn't be let into the match if you wore it, and you you be banned if you made a fuss about it, iirc.

Good point. I always thought it possible that Ian's reluctance with even featuring Rhodesian stuff (yet not S. Africa), stemmed more from not wanting to ruffle Karl's ass; seeing as at the time they were also working together more.

In any case I personally wouldn't want to sour an already difficult business relationship.

FWIW, Ian's mostly been able to preempt YouTube demonization. That list of his videos is incredibly small, considering what actually got demonitezed versus what potentially would've been if he'd acted like a other guntube creators & ignored the change (or just screeched about it).

I think that Rhodie FAL vid was the only one that Ian ever shut down comments on.
I doubt Larry and Ian have much in common beyond a shared enthusiasm for guns, but that’s enough for them to collaborate and talk shop (I also believe Ian bought his FAMAS from Larry).
I can’t imagine Karl interacting with Larry for very long without it turning awkward or hostile.
Karl probably already hates him anyway, much like he hates most of the rest of the YouTube gun channels.

I'm much more in line with Larry when it comes to the Rhodesian stuff and even own multiple pieces of clothing in RBS but I agree Rhodies are kind of annoying. Than you have the anti side calling everyone nazis, I remember Garand Thumb posted a picture of a FAL in baby poop camo and that alone was enough to get the SRA to declare how they always knew he was a white supremacist.

Oddly enough Karl seems to get along with the P&S crew and I think most of them are or were cops. If Karl did more stuff like the battle rifle tests he did with them and less sperging with trannies this thread would of moved on to someone else.

I remember there was a large number of gun/history youtubers who initally expressed interest in augmenting their content, but all but The Chieftain and the Tank Museum backed out. I always wondred what the deal was. In any case, I imagine Karl hates project on principle for them even discussing that allied war crimes were a thing that happened.

Karl’s politics are that of a try hard anarchist punk who’s not nearly as deep as he thinks he is.

He tends to dance around his own explicit policies and prefers a general shitting on traditional morals and conservatism. The closest I’ve heard him come to a specific belief of his own apart from generic “internet freedom” and “fuck coporate control” is the idea that borders are just made up. Thanks for that one Karl, I’m glad you’ve been sitting on that one since you were in 6th grade and shared that with us now.

After George Floyd, he joined the BLM wagon last summer and did the blackout thing or whatever. Ian on the other hand posted a video that week about a vintage tear gas gun which will never not be fucking hilarious to me.

So if Karl’s a commie, he’s an anarcho-commie which alone is enough to give him a lolcow thread, but my guess is that he’s more just woke about generic social issues than a hard leftist.

He may be one of the few people who are actually in the lower left of the political alignment graph. To his credit, he’s way more skeptical of both government and corporations than your typical internet leftist.

This is compared to Ollam and similar, who think they’re in the lower left but will suck corporate and state dick the second they think it gives them any power over the people they despise.

From what I recall, the WW2 project collapsed due to some sort of logistical or organizational problems on the part of the channel that initiated it. InRange did do a video about why they (It was still Karl and Ian at this point) decided to drop out.

It's buried in a Q&A somewhere, but it was with InRangeTV. Karl and the rest supposedly dropped out because there was little communication, which is understandable, and that content was supposed to be made well in advance with little back and forth - you would have to wait to hear what they needed, then film your bit and send it.

Im starting to wonder if Karl’s leftward tilt is a *relatively* recent development. People’s politics do change over time. perhaps he was more of a Right-libertarian until he decided he wanted to start tapping satanist ass......or at least get to watch while someone else tapped it...

Or perhaps.... Karl is desperate for recognition. Maybe he has just determined that being the “woke” gun channel is the best way for him to stand out in the overcrowded guntuber realm.
