I don't know how a country run by literal, actual communists is in any way conservative. A lot of Chinese tradition got outright trashed during the cultural revolution, though attitudes have since become more sensible. India yes, though they do have hijra which are their versions of troon lolcows that no one likes much.

Like the USSR before it China ditched most of its true communist policies decades ago because they were a complete disaster, and everyone knew it. By the 60s the Kremlin wanted to pretend Stalin never existed. There's still a reverence of Mao but it's eroding and they're a lot more open to criticism of him than North Korea is of the Kims. Also, some of the most conservative countries in the world are those that went through communism. They know how bad it was and don't want to go back to it, and if anything they want to try to preserve whatever they have that's working for them. The leftists we have in the West would be raked over the coals in China or the former Soviet Union.

IMO it's not a problem of overpopulation so much as it is of abundance of resources and comformity.

Mice utopia didn't even get close in population to how many mice can exist in a confined space while retaining their instincts, it fell apart because everything was abundant which led to erosion of survival instinct as it ceased being necessary for, well, survival.

It's why India and China can generally be seen as conservative societies despite insane population numbers, because conservatism, family values, a social structure makes life easier and safer, resources easier to obtain, in the west people can count on their government to fulfil basic needs, you can go without any job and you won't starve even if you don't have a family unit to fall back. Hell, starting one can be argued to be a liability as it is far easier to go through life alone doing whatever the fuck you want these days, all you need is a brain.

I believe we can observe that with Jim, ever since he got big on Patreon he started becoming more and more insane compared to what you'd expect of a man his age, all his needs are taken care of and he doesn't really need to do anything for it, whatever internet cliques he attaches himself to he doesn't attach to for support but for masturbatory asspats.

I also think society is afraid to say no to what are viewed as oppressed groups. Just like spoiling a child by never setting limits or boundaries.

Most former USSR countries lurched hard to the right as a reaction to the failures of communism but China is still run by the same party. China would probably welcome western leftists if they worshipped the CCP like /r/GenZedong do but if they kept whining about troonphobia they'd probably get deported. The term "white left" or baizuo exists to separate them from what is seen as the "true" left of taking marching orders from the CCP without asking too many questions.

Outliers aside, it's often more a problem of cardio and fitness as opposed to just weight. Yes, being obese is a problem for multiple reasons, but an obese person who's physically active will be likely healthier than a skinny person who's completely sedentary.

People did sometimes describe diehard communists in the USSR as conservative because they wanted to conserve the system rather than reform it, but cultural attitudes to certain issues do tend to be different. The USSR focused heavily on technology as much as their limited budget allowed to the point where they had the first man in space. Ultra traditionalists don't really do that.

USSR changed over time. It originally started as a genocidal government that starved millions to death, often aimed at ethnic enemies of those in charge. Once things had settled down enough the freaks had to be taken out back and shot. Russia couldn't survive on freaks and genocide alone so they shifted to promoting traditional families. They slowly embraced more Western ideals because capitalism provided more food for the poor than the Russian elites could get. The promotion of traditional family units and the fag bashing attitude thrives because commies changed tactics once they were secure in power. No one wants to be king of the circus when they can have a real kingdom.

as someone who has met multiple members of the four letters in LGBT IRL, I can by this point safely say that I have little reservation of being very supportive of the LGB part in every way I can be while becoming extremely wary of the T part. with that one I really have to look carefully whether or not they're honest with themselves as to why it is they went down this path, or if in the end they're just the non hetero-normative version of Archer yelling LANA over and over.
