I've no doubt he's at least watched some of it. The problem is that good Trek episodes are designed to leave you with something you can genuinely think about. My personal opinion on the subject of Trump, Ocasio-Cortez, Greene, or whatever politician you're currently nursing an enormous hate boner for, is that by their very nature threads about politicians are political - try discussing Donald Trump's antics over the past 5 or so years without mentioning that he was President of the United States.

Therefore, they should be put in A+N, which is doubly useful because it means that [insert politician here] gets his own megathread and so articles about [insert politician here] don't shit up A+N. It also means that you can freely politisperg about a border wall, the Green New Deal, Jewish space lasers, or whatever, which, let's be honest, is what any cow thread about a politician devolves into, without worrying about your posts being jannied for bringing politics into the Lolcows board.
