Conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh dies at 70

Conservative talk show radio host and Republican party icon Rush Limbaugh has died. He was 70 years old.

His wife Kathryn announced his passing on his radio show Wednesday, saying Limbaugh died earlier this morning.

“Rush will forever be the greatest of all time,” she said.

Limbaugh had been battling advanced lung cancer since February.

Back in October, Limbaugh provided this somber update on his show: “You know, I wake up every day and thank God that I did. I go to bed every night praying I’m gonna wake up. I don’t know how many of you do that, those of you who are not sick, those of you who are not facing something like I and countless other millions are.”

Former President Donald Trump awarded Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom during his most recent State of the Union address

This appearance only a few days after his he revealed his diagnosis on his show.

“I can’t help but feel that I’m letting everybody down with this, but the upshot is that I have been diagnosed with advanced lung cancer,” Limbaugh said in February.

“The Rush Limbaugh Show” first aired in 1988.

I'm going to resist the urge to bully the living shit out of some of you, but I will say that if you're getting weepy-eyed over the death of some old man that you did not know, and who also likely hated you, then you seriously need to man the fuck up. He wasn't your friend, I get that he said things you though were "heckin based" but that does not mean you had any sort of relationship. He was a boomer, and it is ALWAYS FUNNY when a boomer dies.

inb4 "muh morality," "muh howd u feel," and other spooks
Weepy-eyed? No. Bummed out? Feelsy? Definitely.
>not posting the time where he was a street fighter

@Meat Target would love this right about now
Lol. He and Seth MacFarlane were actually really good friends IRL.

Remember when Rush blamed Robin William's death on leftists? I can't believe the right killed Rush by giving him cancer, they should be ashamed.

All those years siding with"Booosh" and other neocons who invited millions of immigrants and promoted outsourcing taking Americans' jobs and businesses.
Yeah, he was most definitely a neocon and that's why I was never personally a big fan. Still, it's kind of amazing how violently he could provoke liberals just by existing, more or less.

McCain was a sellout and a neocon who cared more about his wallet and the establishment than his constituents. He held onto office until he died instead of doing the proper thing and retiring.

RBG could've retired a decade before her death, instead she decided to virtue signal and go for stupid "I want to be replaced by the first woman president" with a massive fucking ego. Literally close to death and she holds on instead of retiring quietly and alive to enjoy her last few years.

Rush was a radio host that said things Democrats didn't like, and they spent more time attacking him and strawman of him than any of the things he actually said.

Also fuck Rio Linda.

Edit: not to mention McCain was a warmonger who never saw a conflict he didn't like, leading to people actually dying for the military-industrial complex.
It all comes down to integrity, which is pretty much dead in politics these days. Rush stuck to his guns at the very least, did what he truly believed in and got to be an inspiration for people to look up to. Maybe he got a big head from the fame, but he stood his ground, and he earned his legacy. AM Radio might finally die, but at least he would've taken it with him.

He held on longer than I thought he would. It was a bit of a big deal he had made it to his 70th birthday, a nice round number to go out on. Maybe cloud smoke will be better than cigar smoke. Godspeed, Rush.

Wonder if Rush and Larry King will host their own separate, rival radio stations in heaven.

Have you seen the McCain and RBG threads?
To be fair, plenty of evidence that the former is why Alquida and ISIS have no shortage of weaponry or manpower, I grave danced hard because all of the people his actions have gotten tortured and killed.
The latter ruined the crab rave, I hope a lot of people realized the double standards cheering for her death, myself included.

People on Twitter might have figured that mocking a guy that died of terminal cancer is lowbrow, so now they're digging up his shortlived "AIDS Update" segment that he already apologized for.
Incidentally, these are the people that are going to be absolutely losing their shit when liberal gods like Obama and Pelosi die and are mercilessly mocked by the right.
