What am I even saying, Q hasn’t ever thought about it this far or this hard. If his discord and fence jumping has taught us anything quintons moral compass is not based on what he thinks is right and wrong, it’s based on saying and doing whatever it takes to artificially cultivate a sense of belonging. Of course he could get the real thing by going and making some irl friends instead of running a discord hug box and signalling self contradictory political opinions but it’s clear he didn’t put the work in to maintain the few relationships he brought out of High school. Remember when that buddy of his was part of his videos and they would do like commentary videos? I don’t think him disappearing coinciding with his psychological fall is a coincidence. ironically I think it’s more likely drifting apart from real people like him lead to a existential desire to find belonging online leading to the political stuff, rather than for example him becoming insufferably political leading to abandonment by irl friends. It’s often a chicken and the egg thing but it takes real work to upkeep post hs relationships even if you don’t go to college as you don’t see each other every day, something Q clearly didn’t do, and when that last anchor to reality goes away all that’s left is twitter and his youtube.

I think this is sort of the crux of quinton maintaining an amorphous ghost of sympathy among some (like beige). The fall of a once normal person into successively isolating and insane internet obsession, leading to skin changing, personality shifts and an appearance of fakeness is something I think many people see happen to once normal or even good people. Idk if Quinton was ever good but when I listen to those old commentary tracks he did with his friend he sounds like your average socially awkward guy out of high school. Not a bread tube twitter junky dancing on the grave of his enemies. Enemies who hold that position as a result of direction rather than understanding. Or Flirting with women 10 years older than him who he has never met.
