They never do, because it's not even remotely possible. Their crude, rudimentary mimicry of body parts remind me of that adventurer dude who got stuck in a snowstorm while mountain-climbing and ended up losing most of his fingers and his nose from frostbite. Plastic surgeons were able to create a very basic replacement nose for him by using a tissue expander on his forehead. The finished result looked nowhere near as good as an actual true 'n honest nose, but it did make him look more normal on first glance, which was the goal with the surgery.It IS a deflated ballsack. Srs butchers can never get it right.
If the reconstructive surgeons who operated on him had told him that not only will his new nose look exactly like the real thing but also perform all the physiological functions of a nose, such as filtering and warming/cooling air that is inhaled, no one would have thought it would be a remotely acceptable selling point. Hey, not even a throat-ear-and-nose specialist would be able to tell the different, am I rite?
