Some are early or late bloomers. Generally girls tend to start developing secondary sexual characteristics around the ages 11-13 and finish developing around 16-ish. Most girls get about as tall as they are going to get at around 16.

It depends on a lot of factors, but both men and women are not considered "fully grown" until 25.

As the reddit OP implies, hormones can change this, and considering oestrogen is the signalling chemical for growth plate fusion, if anything the troon is being prescribed T to keep the growth plates open longer. I cannot comment on whether this gambit has merit.

Some thoughts on the matter from the wise Mr. Lineham:

There's a sort of general comment to be made here about the incoherence and ridiculousness of his views. He, of course, legitimately deserves sympathy for the things that happened to him as a child, especially the sexual abuse. Even for the getting groomed into doing furry ERP with GayFurry7777, my feeling is always that it is important to carve out the space for people to dissociate themselves from any feelings of responsibility for things they did as minor. Kids are stupid and we were all no exception to this rule.

That said, the way he thinks about the problem of pedos/abusers/malevolent individuals generally, is frankly retarded. "Community policing" or whatever retarded nonsense does not effectively stop this kind of stuff nor will it ever. The hard truth is that people have their motivations and you are not going to change them. Nobody really cares that deeply or at least that constantly about ensuring everyone is "safe" and even if they did it probably wouldn't matter. The only reliable way to avoid kid's being groomed/abused etc. is to simply remove the possibility by enforcing more restrictive norms. For example, no fucking kids (both senses) in LGBT spaces (especially not "queer" autists who are just looking for somewhere where they won't get bullied), advise parents to restrict their child's internet access if they start hanging around on furry forums etc. Alternatively, you can just set stricter standards for belonging, like say: no autistic male troons allowed..?

I didn't go further into this because I thought my post was long enough. But apparently GayFurry77777 / Tony Puynz / Tony FurryFox has an ED page which was last updated in 2015. However it reveals that EssenceOfThought's real name may be Peter Thurston. EoT apparently went by Atomicfurriesglobal on youtube. The only relevant youtube vid I can still dredge up is this one, which seems rather negative towards Tony FurryFox. I'm really not seeing this pile on that he's alleging, but it could have happened on some less public place.

After seeing the same name create the ED page and the wikifur page, I found this series of tweets from EoT regarding this situation which confirms the wiki user Atrumnex101 was EoT, and thus the writer of the ED page and the person who provided the images.

The sting operation in question is Peter posing as a 14 year old christian girl on youtube to try and bait Tony FurryFox to respond.

And that's all I can find so far. I think this is a weird situation, and I also think it's weird to bring it up 10 years after the fact. At least the narrative has been consistent?
