I mean, that is already an anachronism because the anime suggests poke balls existed at least four decades ago, in the Celebi movie. Both Oak and Drayden are meant to be in their 50s. At the latest, poke balls were normal sights at 15yrs.Speaking of lore inconsistency

Well it’s hinted that individual regions had their form of Poke Balls like how Johto had the Apricorn Balls. So it’s likely that Unova likely didn’t have them or had something else entirely.Speaking of lore inconsistency

What if the joke is Drayden is older than the dinosaurs?Speaking of lore inconsistency

To be fair, he could've been joking about his age.Speaking of lore inconsistency

I liked ORAS with the exception of one thing, how they changed Mauville. I'm not talking about just the Game Corner either, I just didn't like the redesign of the city at all, it felt really odd. Otherwise they were perfectly good remakes with nice QoL changes.Platinum is better. Hopefully they have at least some of its content, but it's the Pokemon Company.
That said, it's funny that people were pissed that ORAS changed too much, and now they're mad that the D/P remakes are changing too little. The Pokemon fanbase is really fucking autistic.
I'm ashamed to have called this.. not even 6 months lmaoWhy didn't Gen 8 look like Pokêmon Snap?
Watch the next mainline game be a tremendous graphical downgrade by the series' own standards now.
Graphically, the game's passable. It's the gameplay that matters the most.I'm ashamed to have called this.. not even 6 months lmao
Yep, their also making BoTW Pokemon edition. They're already making a remake of Diamond and Pearl? I still remember when the original Diamond and Pearl were brand new.
Hard disagree when it comes to battling other real people, but I've been out of the franchise for so long I can't say if AI battles are any good, I thought they were kind of shit to be honest. Can someone fill us in here?simple "rock/paper/scissors" battles.
All I remember is that in the earlier ones, the AI battles were extremely easy and just boiled down to matching the correct element (e.x. water, fire, grass, etc).Hard disagree when it comes to battling other real people, but I've been out of the franchise for so long I can't say if AI battles are any good, I thought they were kind of shit to be honest. The last one I remember was the Hoopa one for Gen 6. Was that the last one? Also remember when wireless giveaways of rare pokeymens to D/P were a thing at places like GameStop or Toys "R" Us?
15 years ago this year in Japan. You old buddyThey're already making a remake of Diamond and Pearl? I still remember when the original Diamond and Pearl were brand new.
That sounds like you just played Gen 1 and stopped, can't really judge the entire franchise on that. A bit harder to pull that stunt now with better AI and enemy teams using moves that cover their weaknesses. Now I'm not saying the main game is super hard since it's still mainly for kids, but you do have to pay attentionAll I remember is that in the earlier ones, the AI battles were extremely easy and just boiled down to matching the correct element (e.x. water, fire, grass, etc).
You could be 10-20 levels below your opponent, and as long as you used the right element, you could kill all of his Pokemon in 1-2 shots. The AI was also pretty stupid and would do stuff like heal itself even when its HP bar was full.

It's best to keep in mind that that was presentation footage. While GF isn't known for their coding prowess, they still have a year to touch up and polish things.
I remember going into a Pokémon movie to get a Pokémon. This was beginning of the Diamond and Pearl. The last one I remember was the Hoopa one for Gen 6. Was that the last one?
