I only remember him doing it a few times before he beat the game, when he wasn't even halfway done. Then, when he realized how piss easy the game is and after he beat it how he could just phone it in and do the most low effort shit possible by grinding in a piss easy JRPG for 2 hours, he doesn't threaten to quit it, he's just "disappointed" at the "lack of support". Even when he got just 19% pahsitivity on the stream where he beat the first post-game challenge dungeon, he didn't threaten to wagequit it, he still decided to do his ungodly grinding streams where he does the same 5 fights again and again, he just said that it was "disappointing" that people didn't show up to whale out.
Not just his "trophy wife", but his maid and nanny. Remember the King of Suffering when Leanna left? Phil has been even more conditioned into having his house cleaned, dinner made, laundry done, ect. than when Leanna was there. He won't even drive himself anywhere anymore. If I can remember my FGC lore Phil basically wanted to be recognized for EVO 2005. The problem was that no one cared about EVO that year and Phil already had his coveted idiot/raging asshole reputation. What makes EVO 2005 extra funny is the fact this moron basically grinded this game to learn all the tricks, came to the event a week or two early to grind at it some more, knew the best of the best were not going to show up and still had some Japanese players clean his ass up in a shitty glitchy port they knew nothing about....let that sink in a minute.

He matches the general whaling MO but this ghost tip suggests it might not be. Late in the stream tonight he told Phil the problem was that he tried to send that large tip with a debit card instead of his credit card, resulting in the bank freezing the transaction and possibly his checking account. Phil recommended that he call the bank and try to cancel it, saying that it was for a streamer and that he was sending money because he likes what the streamer does, but that they froze it so it was best to cancel it. Phil said it made no sense for the funds to sit there 'not coming to me and... uh... out of your account'.
