You have to wonder what the elf is thinking. If you want annoying perfomative wholeness, Resetera, Reddit, discord, etc. are a lot more active and useful. He’s getting into a more crowded market.

He is abandoning his current base to chase a new, bigger, imagined market.
But he fails to realize that, just like the BBS style media of long time ago, the forum market is declining and being replaced as well.

Was only a matter of time before Malka tried to desperately get users back from Resetera.

Isamu Fukui is what Tyler wants to be. A mastermind at generating tranny outrage and leaving it all to Hecht/B-Dubs to deal with whilst collecting the shekels each month.

No one has seen Isamu in over a year yet his unpaid jannies still slave away with their mental illness and alcohol addiction increasing.

And you don't even have to be one of these badass women to benefit from this. There's a certain "free ride" aspect to just having things like guns being available to normal citizens. The fact you might have one deters many crimes. As Heinlein said: "An armed society is a polite society. Manners are good when one may have to back up his acts with his life."

I understand what Resetera invokes, talking with their members over live chat channels is even worse if you can believe me. But like with many other places on the internet it will always be a collection of talking heads who will fortunately have no meaningful impact in your social life. They are not worth your feelings.

Misery loves company. They believe themselves to be living in a hellscape entirely of other people's making, and don't believe there's any real difference between fiction and reality. They also viscerally hate anyone who has a different perspective than them. Why wouldn't they love only the bleakest of games that reinforce all their political views?

And, of course, a fair number of them would have voted for it without having had to have played it, just because TLOS Part 2 was designed for the Current Year culture wars. So it's a vote for 'the game everyone I hate supposedly hates', rather than the game they actually thought was the best.
