The townspeople, apart from being good-natured, probably treated the tranchers nicely because they didn’t want negative attention/to get cancelled.

There's no actual evidence that the town is the least hostile to the tranch. Before this war larp started the most hostile thing they reported was that some guy wore a Maga cap in the same gas station as them. He didn't even say anything. And the only reason I count that is because Bonnie really wanted to fight that guy. Only choosing not to do that because their employer (some Amish guy ) was in the car with them.


However the tranch has always been very hostile when it comes to the local community. They always go into town armed and in groups just in case. And when some shop owner thanked the trannies for openly carrying

The townspeople are not to blame for any kind of hostile environment that the tranch is currently in. Yeah, but if they aren't at least on a watch list, I'm going to be very disappointed. I think they are a legit threat. Although I think the threat is more that they will accidentally set off an incident vs planning one.
