Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Eh... Problem is that the media has spooled out enough stories about Kamala Harris taking over and listening to Biden sound like Mushmouth when he does talk isn't doing the administration any favors. Especially since we have multiple crises going on and Biden should be leading from the front. Instead he is no where to be found. People may end up feeling abandoned by the establishment.

They've always been close to China, North Korea is largely a satellite state with a schizophrenic personality. There may be inklings of warming relations now and then (with Trump's overtures being the high point) and stuff like the Malaysia poisoning event a few years back (hypothesized to be an attempt by Kim to eliminate a Chinese-backed successor), but China will never willingly let North Korea align with the west.

This conversely is why to not expect the Biden administration to do much officially with North Korea. Too much risk of failure, little promise of foreign policy success to utilize come midterms and 2024.

I'm conflicted on it, because we all know they'll simp for him and not actually ask him serious questions, but I have noticed the media is getting frustrated with the lack of any openness from Biden.

I agree but I've seen bits of Sharkiness to some folks I figured would be lock step with the administration. Ratings for liberal media outlets have also fallen near 25-33% so outrage is what they need. Media is driven by ratings and praising how 'great Biden is' while the average American is literally suffering via lockdown is not going to win them over. In general I feel the 2022 tide will be so Red it's gonna be outstanding because this administration can't even enact meaningful criminal justice reform in time before Summer which will inevitably result in more riotting...either George Floyd related or not.

Its like this part of the Black Friday South Park special where the News always wins
